Written on: 15/03/2009

The Petite Star Zia pushchair is very compact and light weight. Had a zapp for my middle child and loved it but when I had my third I wanted a puchchair she could lie flat in. I saw the zia and thought it was perfect. After about 5 months it became hard to control and had a bit of a mind of it's own, now 10 months old the front wheel has snapped off. Another bad point is unlike the zap its hard to wash, so as I had the red one it always looked a little grubby… Read Full Review

Written on: 28/01/2009

Love the Petite Star Zia stroller! Ive had it for around 6 months now and my 16 month old looks really comfy in it. Had had a few problems with the front wheel sticking when turning but despite the very few bad points I still love this pram. Its so easy to put up and down and folds so small! Really light, easy to steer, looks lovely, folds small and really easily. Only bad points are recline is a bit of a fiddle, rain cover is a bit small and front wheel sometimes sticks… Read Full Review

I found this review helpful because I just got rid of my Quinny Zapp as it was so diffficult to fold up and down and two hands were required to do both!! I am now "desparateley seeking" a stylish and practical buggy WITH a reclining seat so my 11 month old son can sleep in comfort.. Zia seems to tick all the boxes and I think I can cope with the rain cover "issue", its a shame the Zapp didn't have just one issue for us to cope with!!!!

Written on: 09/01/2009 by nikkihawkins84 (2 reviews written)

When I first got the Petite Star Zia I was worried about the sturdiness of the buggy as it seemed very bouncy compared to more traditional stlye buggies, and I was convinced that it was going to collapse on itself if I hung anything on the handles.

But I have since learnt that the bounciness ensures my daughter has a more comfortable ride, and it cannot be made like the more traditional ubrella fold styles as it would not fold as small. I also find that I can hang as many bags on the handles… Read Full Review

Written on: 03/01/2009 by zaksmummy (1 review written)

The Petite Star Zia pushchair folds really small and easy to push, looks good. I imagine it would be great for a child under 12 months but i would not reccomend for a child over 12 months as the seat recline does not sit up enough nice idea but does not quite live up to it. Rain cover but easily sorted with a bit of velcro attached to the bottom of the chassis and bottom of the rain cover. The worst point i have found with it is that the seat does not sit up properly therefore my child is… Read Full Review

Written on: 10/12/2008 by kazag2002 (1 review written)

I would not recommend the Petite Star Zia to anyone. Mine started sticking and pulling to the right, and also when turning corners when onto only one back wheel. This concerned me as I knew it would only be a matter of time before it toppled over. I took it back to the store I purchased it from, and they sent it back to Petite Star who informed me that there was not a problem with the pushchair. After two weeks i went shopping with the pushchair, and my sixteen month old daughter sat… Read Full Review

I LOVE this buggy (never said that before), the Petite Star Zia is perfect if you have a young baby! Not sure what it would be like if you have a very active toddler, but until then it is FAB. Bought black with bright pink footmuff - lovely… Read Full Review

I stressed over prams so much when I was pregnant and then I saw a friend with this pram. I was instantly impressed and bought one immediately. We use this pram everyday and have had it for six months now. It still looks neat and tidy. Mylo seems very comfortable it's a good height for me (I'm 5' 5"). I can hang a reasonable amount of shopping on the handles, although I wouldn't leave it standing alone. Overall I am pleased with the purchase and would recommend it. The cosy toes is great too… Read Full Review

Written on: 21/11/2008 by beewool (1 review written)

I bought a Petite Star Zia as I wanted a small 3 wheeler that reclined back to allow my 9 month old to sleep in. Whilst initially wary having read multiple reviews about problems with the wheels (they either fell off or kept locking according to different people), I was really pleased when it arrived and everything seemed to work well. In fact I was feeling quite smug, thinking others must have been doing something wrong, except for the issues described with the raincover. All that said, 30… Read Full Review

I don't think the Petite Star Zia tips over unless you absolutely abuse it with shopping. I have found this out, but luckily baby strapped in safe (well not baby, 1 year old) need to be careful though and it does take 2 hands to push when you've got stuff hanging on it or it may tip even from just a bit of stuff… Read Full Review

“Lightweight, ”

Written on: 09/11/2008

Lightweight,
Really good-sized seat both width and depth are perfect for my wee chunky monkey.
Great for big-footed people as you don't kick the wheels and your feet don't catch on anything at the back of the buggy (big-footed people'll know what I mean!)
Fantastic for space saving as it folds down small

Cracking wee buggy for out and about, I've not been out on the bus with it yet, but its easy enough to fold down so shouldn't be a problem if no low floored, easy-access buses are available… Read Full Review

Written on: 03/11/2008 by redjen74 (1 review written)

I would not recommend the Petite Star Zia, it can fall very easily when child is in it. I think it is far too difficult to use seat adjustment, not very sturdy. I find that using the seat for child to lie down is far too fiddly and broke the first time i did it. Handles are too low for my partner to push it. I cannot push it with one hand, unlike to Quinny Zapp… Read Full Review

Written on: 29/10/2008 by pjerrard (1 review written)

Handles are too low for me and not adjustable (I'm 5ft7"). Raincover is difficult to keep on (baby can kick it off with his feet). I can't steer it one-handed. Steering sometimes erratic, especially when baby sits forward. Can't operate recline when baby is in buggy and mechanism is fiddly. Stability can be an issue (my baby has toppled himself over once when on slightly uneven ground) and won't tolerate much weight on the handles. Basket is small, will barely fit the raincover in and has to… Read Full Review

All in all the Petite Star Zia is a lovely buggy. It's light weight, easy to fold and my 2 yr old daughter seems to be comfortable in it. I had a quinny Zapp before this and it was so heavy. I didn't like the way you had to take the top part of the buggy off before you put it into the car - then back on again… Read Full Review

I was looking to get a quinny for my son but was put of by the idea because it doesn't lay down at all and would be very uncomfortable sleeping sitting up, but then I found the petite star zia. I have had many buggies from big prams to strollers to travel systems and I have to say this one is becoming to be a favourite. The seat is very big my 10months old son looks very comfortable, lays totally flat. I haven't found one fault with this buggy yet… Read Full Review
