I bought this pushchair when my son was 18 months, as our previous pushchair had to be retired. It was recommended to me by a friend, and I wasn't disappointed.
It's extremely light, with excellent suspension, there is plenty of space for my now two year old son, who is very tall. It seems comfortable, it's very easy to fold and it's easy to clean.
The handles are a little low, the shopping basket is quite small, and the raincover is a bit annoying, but those are minor flaws.
I use this… Read Full Review

I have had the Petite Star Zia for about 18 months and am happy with it on the whole. My son seems to be comfortable in it and falls asleep quite happily. The recline mechanism is a bit fiddly but fine once you get used to it and better than the quinny zapp which doesn't recline at all. My main problem with the buggy is the rain cover which is totally useless. I don't know if it has been improved since I bought it but my son kicks it off as soon as I put it on. Oh, and the wheels have fallen… Read Full Review

I have used this for a week now and it has now developed a clicking noise on the wheels when you are pushing it i have the latest model with the new handles so this problem hasnt been put right on these newer models as well yet. My son seems to fall down the seat and is hanging from the straps the thing i hate the most you cannot lie the seat back when they are sitting in it as the back strap is very hard to use. I have had many pushchairs bugaboos, quinny you name it and this has to be one of… Read Full Review

I have been through many prams over the last 8 years and this on I have to say i really love. The suspention is great, there is so much room for my son to grow that he'll still be in it at the age of 4. It is so easy to fold away and compact. After reading other reviews about it tipping over I have not had a problem with it, it seems sturdy enough. The only downside is that the handles are very low, (measurments are given before sale)… Read Full Review

When I bought this pushchair I thought I was getting good value for money. After only 5 weeks of use the wheels are making a scratchy sound, the brake has to constantly be fixed and the "cosytoes" cover has started to fall apart at the seems...literally. After a full week of trying I cannot get any response via telephone from Petite Star whatsoever. My advice would be spend your money elsewhere. :( And you may notice that I have given this product a 1 star rating on both counts, this is only… Read Full Review

just used my new petit star zia 4, today for the first time and was a little disappointed. My 7 month old was slipping all over the place the straps did not hold her in place no matter how i adjusted them, she is a big baby and she still has heaps of room. it was ok for laying down in but the up right position was not ideal for her. So would not recommend for younger babies. Although i did find the five point harness very easy to open but its the height to which the straps start from the… Read Full Review

I've bought a Petite Star Zia as it fits in the boot of my Mazda MX-5 and it is fantastic! It is so easy to fold up and down, is compact and fairly light, easy to steer and has quick-release wheels (should you need this). My son seems to enjoy it as he goes to sleep quite quickly (a good sign) as it reclines nicely which a lot of the smaller pushchairs/strollers do not do. The only warning I would give is that you have to be careful if you put a bag on the handles (which I know you shouldn't do… Read Full Review

I absolutely love this pushchair!! i bought the petite star zia after having a bebe confort loola which was also a good pushchair but just too big and bulky. I got the petite star in sky blue which is a gorgeous turquoise colour and is perfect for my little boy. It is a dream to push and the suspension gives a really smooth ride. I've read reviews saying it topples over with just a changing bag on or going up curbs which is rubbish!! I hang a changing bag on the handles with bottles, nappies… Read Full Review

i have given the zia 4 stars for the following reasons...
1. the rubbish shopping basket, they could have extended it buy at least 3 inches each way without affecting the folding mechanism or folded size!
2. it doesn't have a "lifty-uppy" (technical term ;) ) footrest for when my girlie falls asleep so her legs hang down!
3. the handle could have easily been made to adjust like the maclaren xt and also could do with some foam grip as (and i know this is gross to say) my hands tend to sweat with… Read Full Review

My baby and I both love this pram. I think that the faults that people have described must have been rectified by now. It is so easy to put down and up and I am able to push it with one hand. I bought the chicco for me which is a lot more expensive but proved to be just too bulky. I wish i bought this one originally as it is so compfy and everything about it is alot simpler. I am 5ft 8" and have no problem with the handle height, footmuff or raincover. I have also had no problem with the… Read Full Review

I bought the Petite Star Zia as everybody recommended it and I saw them everywhere - my son absolustely loves it and is very comfortable - I really dont think that it is very suitable for newborn babies though - my son went in it from 3 months and even though I adjusted the straps they seemed too big for him.
It is very easy to fold down and open and takes up hardly any room in the car which is great. The only problem I have is that it tips back very easily - the only bag I have had on it is… Read Full Review

i bought this stroller after i had a quinny which i hate
it was too cumbersome and i wanted something i could always use and also bring on holidays i love it it reclines is very lightweight but very sturdy wide for jnr and plenty of room very very easy to control and folds to next to nothing the only downside is that she faces forward but i can live with that
i wouldnt part with it for the world… Read Full Review

I ordered this from littlewoods recieved yesterday was a bit unsure at first but now im glad i got it.Alot of issues from other reviews were with the raincover mine has velcro so i can secure it the brakes are different i have both on or off on same side the on is not in the way of feet while walking. The seat is very padded and lays flat with out any problems. The only downside is the basket but apart from that i love this pram… Read Full Review

I was really happ with my PETITE STAR ZIA and have been for the past year. I knew the basket was so ridiculously small before I bought it, so that didnt bother me. The rain cover has since split at either side by the handles which is annoying and today, well, my 15 month old son leaned to one side and the whole thing tipped over!!!!!! I phoned the manufacturer who patronisingly told me that if I read the instructions that you should always have one hand on it at all times.....!!!! any parent… Read Full Review

Brought the petite star zia as we wanted something similar to the Quinny Zapp and chose this one as it went back.
Well what can I say - A BIG MISTAKE!! the handle height is ridiculous i'm only 5ft 2in and felt like I was bending over to push. The wheels wore down very quick!, usless if your on any uneven surface ie in the woods, off road, sand, snow etc.
Harness is a nightmare, the straps get very twisted and tended to crease making it difficult to straighten out.
Basket is unobtainable when… Read Full Review

I purchased the petite star zia after having had enough of the mamas and papas luna. The luna was a dream to push, but a nightmare to fold and fit in the car boot, the attached footmuff ended up dirty as when folded it dragged on the ground.
The petite star ticked all the boxes of what we required in a pushchair.
First: safety, which is very important for every child. The petite star zia has the 5 point harness which held my grandaughter in, unlike the lunas floating harness. We… Read Full Review

i've had about 7 or 8 pushchairs in less than 16months and i have to say i loved my zia..it took me a week or 2 to get used to the handles as it is very different feel to the quinny zapp which i've also had and loved. My daughter loved the comfort of the zia and slept really well in it. I haven't had any problems with it tipping over but i dont put many bags onto the handles anyway.. the shopping basket is very difficult to put anything in and i must admit i wouldn't say it was suitable for… Read Full Review

We purchased a petite star pram for our son to go on his first holiday abroad, this seemed like the perfect choice because of how compact it was and we also purchased a carry bag to take it on the plane-HOWEVER this is the only positive I cannot count how many times the wheels have come off the back of the pram and the front when crossing the road!! it is useless for going down over pavements. If my son leans to the side it has a tendency to tip over! I deffinately would not recommend to… Read Full Review

The Petite Star Zia.....WELL!!!! This pushchair is utter rubbish!!! Do not waste your money on it! Having had 3 children and gone through 2 Maclaren strollers, 2 3 wheelers, a Graco travel system and a Micralite stroller i have to say this is without a doubt the worst buggy i have ever wasted my money on!
I bought a Micralite Stroller for my son at 4 months and decided it was time for a change now he is 16 months. I had a little push of my friends' Zia as her child is the same age and she… Read Full Review
