The Apple MacBook Pro is amazing! Out-of-the-box features include i Photo image editor, I Movie digital movie editor, Garage Band digital recording studio, Web Page/Web Gallery creation, simple wireless networking. Every thing's seamlessly integrated in a way no Windows platform can match. For faster performance add more RAM from Crucial.co.uk. Apple's dot.mac facility (which allows off line storage/backup, image hosting, remote access to your Mac from another, video conferencing etc, costs an… Read Full Review

Its better then my acer laptop by quite far as far as I am concerned.

It doesn't produce errors like I received with other laptops I have received in the past, this Apple Macbook Pro feels like it is very well made.

Apple Macbook laptops are the best laptops I have so far experienced… Read Full Review

I'm just not impressed and I used to be a rabid Mac fan (owned one of the first 128K Mac's actually). Apple is so intent on being artistic in their designs that they resist simple changes that are common in the windows world... like scroll wheels on their mice. I had to buy a Microsoft wireless keyboard and mouse before I could even be comfortable working with my Mac Book… Read Full Review

Don't get me wrong, I'm writing this review on a Macbook Pro, so it must do something right, and it does. The computer has all of the usual Apple advantages - style of both software and hardware, foolproof set up and ease of use.

But it's a computer that's waiting for the industry to catch up. It's called "Pro", but in the main professional markets where Apple retains a presence, the all-important software hasn't yet been rewritten for the Intel processor. In short, Adobe CS II suite… Read Full Review

Yeah, the Apple Macbook Pro is an outstanding notebook, and it has the best looks, a perfect finish and a great screen with a sexy design.

Hi,

Since I wrote this, my Apple Macbook has destroyed its battery - a known issue with these.
There's an Apple replacement programme, and one was sent to me FOC within a couple of days, but it's scary to see a battery distorted enough to break its case!

The MacBook Pro is Apple's first professional grade laptop to sport latest Intel Core Duo processor. It replaces the old Powerbook G4 and outperforms it easily.

The all alluminium design is both easy on the eye and durable, not to mention extremely light and the display is top notch. Producing 1440x900 in just 15.4" is an excellent achievement and easily better my Toshiba P20's 17" screen.

Inside the hard drive is pure SATA running at around 5400rpm. Whilst this is no faster than IDE drives… Read Full Review
