I would absolutely recommend this product to anyone that I come across in the street or anywhere. Unlike any other laptop that I have owned it is by far the best. Battery life is absolutely amazing unlike on the iPhone. The features on the Mac book are just truly amazing and unique. The user interface is what attracts so many people and to be honest it's what did it for me to and I am really glad I bought one, I haven't been off it since I bought it it is that good… Read Full Review

I bought my apple macbook pro to take on tour. As a dj i can run a lot more software on it, ableton live, logic pro 9 etc. without it stalling or crashing like my old macbook 13". I also like the bigger screen, it allows me to see more and have more windows up to play with whilst doing live mixes.
All in all, I think its a little overpriced (like most apple products) but it's a good bit of kit and really reliable.
The battery life is also really good as normal laptops tend to run out of juice… Read Full Review

I've been a professional computer user for years, and as with many people, my place of work used Windows NT based PC's. I was pretty good with them, and each time I had a problem, the IT dept sorted it out.
Then, I started work at a firm that used Mac's. Not being familiar with them, my first question was "What's the number for the IT dept?". The answer came "We don't have one." I was dreading having a problem and losing time. However, after a few days, I was up to speed on the subtle… Read Full Review

I bought and 15" macbook pro with an intel i7 processor. My desktop pc was in desperate need of reinstalling the operating system. It was running very slow and I had trouble using pro audio software on it. However I didnt have space anywhere to back up the data. This and the fact that I needed something more portable prompted me to by and high spec macbook. However since buying 8 months agao its been wrought with problems. The screen keeps going blank and prompting me to reboot perhaps once… Read Full Review

I simply love my macbook pro. I wouldnt now ever have any other kind of computer - i have been truely converted! Its a lot more than simply good looks. Easy to use, and highly intuitive - I now find myself getting very frustrated using a PC!!. With the ability to use microsoft office products - so that excel and word docs are easily transferable - the only real down side is the cost. Its a shame it is so much more expensive than an equivalent PC. Other than that - no complaints! I highly… Read Full Review

I love my Macbook Pro although it just seems to be running quite slow for the past 12mnths. I have reformatted my computer and its still slow. I don't have any viruses on my computer so i don't think this is a contributing factor. This probably my biggest complaint with this laptop. I think the battery life could also be a little better too. Apple seems to love to increase battery life with each new model. The problem with this is that we either have to hold out for the new versions to… Read Full Review

I bought my mpb around 1 year ago and thought i would share my experience with reviewcenter.
For the 1st 6 months it was all fine, it was fast worked prefectly. Basically no issues at all. But around april I started having issues. The casing started giving me electric shocks and one day it made a massive pop and scared the hell out of me.
A few days later I took it into Apple, they were very helpful and replaced some sort of board. I was pleased with their service.
Now the screen is… Read Full Review

I had a macbook pro for work and totally hated it, the battery was no where near what everyone was going on about and the navigation of operating system was far from second nature.
I've used apple before but think this is overpriced and simply a slim laptop with a high price tag to increase sales for apple over the success of the iphone.
Avoid unless you like new gadgets with all show and no go!… Read Full Review

Bought a 17" Macbook Pro about 4 months ago from eBay. A bit more expensive than a PC of similar spec, but what you get is also much more. Far less flaky than the alternative.
Both my children and my parents (when babysitting) are regular users, neither had much computer experience, much less on a Mac. Gave them a separate login and they were away with next to nothing in the way of showing them the ropes.
For family use, its easy of use is perfect. I'd be be worrying constantly about… Read Full Review

I changed to a mac from PC just over 6 months ago, while i was hesitant at first, i have since never looked back and it was one of the best decisions i have made!
The macbook pro 15" with intel i7 processor is the most powerful option available and worth every penny. i have the uprated hdd and screen which is great value for money and while the laptop is incredibly expensive (in excess of £1800) it is perfect for all my needs including very strenuous tasks such as video editing etc. the power… Read Full Review

I think that the Mac's are absolutely excellent and the customer service I have received from them, after sales, has been second to none. When I first bought my I Mac, I had problems with it after only one year. I was so dismayed that I had spent extra than I normally would to get it and was left with a product that appeared to be not worth its extra money. However I contacted Apple and explained to them that I had changed from a pc to a mac on the recommendation of shop staff telling me… Read Full Review

I own both a Windows and Mac laptop, and Mac is easily the better brand.
Not only are they nice to look at both outside and in, but they are easy to use, don't crash or get viruses [in my experience] and have extremely long battery life compared to their competitors.
I have the aluminum MacBook Pro, and the amount of times that I have spilt a drink on the thing without it being affected is amazing.
They are easy to clean, robust, and everything is tucked away - you don't have a disc tray that… Read Full Review

I love my Macbook. Let me start by saying that. I wasn't sure I would, after loads of my friends kept telling me how much I would (I didn't watch Titanic due to the hype either but feel that decision was justified!).
My Macbook came travelling with me recently, and it was great to be able to access emails through the wifi connection. Everything is easy to use, and just kinda makes sense. It loads up and shuts down quickly, and seems to be immune to viruses (touch wood).I haven't had any… Read Full Review

I received my MacBook almost a year.
I have never looked back.
Coming from a complete windows using family and having never owned a Mac, I found the transition seamless and within a week I had completely given up on Windows all together. The simplicity to use the Operating System is well Simple.
I paid only £5 for my MacBook which was delivered to me free from Amazon.co.uk… Read Full Review

The Apple MacBook Pro is amazing! Out-of-the-box features include i Photo image editor, I Movie digital movie editor, Garage Band digital recording studio, Web Page/Web Gallery creation, simple wireless networking. Every thing's seamlessly integrated in a way no Windows platform can match. For faster performance add more RAM from Crucial.co.uk.
