“Needs improving”

Firstly I didn't get a reminder, email or post. I had actually ran out of insurance and only checked by chance. Quote was ok, could and should have been a bit cheaper. I accepted because I had no insurance. I had to chase the documents. I know 48 hour is quoted but they are usually there more or less after you've paid. The policy itself is ok. Really steep excess though. 20 years riding without ever claiming should really bring those excesses down. Breakdown cover was a bonus that I wasn't… Read Full Review

Doing the quote online was and is easy you get the best quote with the best back up service, also you get breakdown cover and cover for your helmet and leathers. Got a renewal notice, rang for a quote, was told it ould be emailed. A week later I realised I had not received it and I was now about to be without insurance, rang again and was told all the info was there and they were surprised I had not been given the quote on the phone. Cheap insurance with good cover but I guess the savings are being made in the admin dept. They take your money and no receipt or invoice, I had to call and be firm to request the invoice. Still no documents received they keep saying it takes 48hr but nothing coming. Once they have your money no service what so ever but I guess it's the same with other insurers… Read Full Review

“MCE Motorcycle Insurance renewal”

Had a letter from MCE saying it was time to renew my bike insurance. I thought it was a bit strange that they never put the price in the letter. I gave them a call thinking the guy would tell me quickly the price for the next 12 months considering there were no changes in my circumstances.....no chance! I got through to a VERY noisy call centre and had to go through a new insurance quote although they had all my details and there were no changes.I realised after I could have done this myself… Read Full Review
