“Awful staff and service”

I received an email asking me to contact them regards a missed payment. I called them and was basically spoken to like a misbehaving 5 year old child. They claimed they did not have my contact details, nonsense, they had mobile number and email address. They also failed to correct my street address despite being informed of the change. I missed a payment, my bad, but that does not give them the excuse to talk to me like I'm dirt. Will cancel if I'm treated like this again. Terrible company… Read Full Review

“Renewals should be easy !”

As an existing MCE customer renewing my insurance should be a quick and easy process. It took over 30min on the phone to get this done. Not sure why in this modern age i needed to repeat EVERY detail to confirm things. Surely the fact that "your insurance may be void" if you make false declarations statement should cover all aspects??? The young man i spoke with was good and was typical of a person in this business these days reading all the stuff that appears to be a company disclaimer really about all the usual stuff all insurers go through. Even though i got a good price by the time he told me about all the potential and actual costs i would incur with any claim it calculated to roughly £2000 i think. I totally agree the past two occosions i have renewed my policy the process has taken 1/2hr plus ! All my details/circumstances have remained the same its as i'm taking out a new policy !!

took out a renewal policy on my motorcycle and was told to wait 24-48 hours for the documents to arrive via email.the money for the policy was taken without issue and very quickly no problems there. waited for the first 48 hours to pass received nothing. called customer services standard sorry sorry sorry nothing we can do technical hitch check in 48 hours. Firstly I didn't get a reminder, email or post. I had actually ran out of insurance and only checked by chance. Quote was ok, could and should have been a bit cheaper. I accepted because I had no insurance. I had to chase the documents. I know 48 hour is quoted but they are usually there more or less after you've paid. The policy itself is ok. Really steep excess though. 20 years riding without ever claiming should really bring those excesses down. Breakdown cover was a bonus that I wasn't… Read Full Review
