been to 2 different unlock companys and was told this n8 couldnt be unlocked as they didnt have the right equipment. have used phonefun before on 2 phones I had, but went to the shop in sheffield to have them done. Waited for 3 months being given the runaround with Orange only to be told I could not unlock my Iphone, then tried Iphone unlockers, no joy there and finally the Fun foneshop unlocked it in less than 12 hours, the process was so easy with no stupid downloads to have to worry about, well done guys will definetly highly reccomend you to everyone… Read Full Review

“Repair failed 3 times”

My Nokia's screen cracked, (and after handing it in at Teddington Essentials and getting a cheap screen which did not last long, I searched the net for a more reliable service) and in the end sent it to FoneFunShop to be replaced. I requested a genuine part. Fault 1. When I got it back, the buttons under the screen did not respond. i have used these guys many times for repairs, and never had a problem.

6 months later your screen cracked !!! what a joke !!

would you say the same for your windscreen to autoglass?

maybe if you hadnt used this store in teddington you would have had a better job, sounds like they messed up your phone, and fone funshop were making a silk purse from a pigs ear.

Guest, glad to hear you had good service. Add your review so that people can see it.
As for my review, I think the proof of the pudding is that Nokia have fixed it 100% and it's still as good as ever now.
Without prejudice, fonefunshop gave me a bad part, workmanship and service, and the keys were only wrong after they worked in it. I have to tell it like it is. After reading your review, people can decide for themselves.

“Sony ericsson vivaz charging port replacement”

Sent my Sony Ericsson Vivaz in for a new charging port, within a week i had recieved my phone back. Unfortunatly my phone still wouldnt charge, i rang and spoke to Mark. Mark told me to return my phone and they would sort the problem. Again within a week i had my phone back and this time it was in full working order. What a breath of fresh air to speak to people who are genuinely interested in helping to solve individual problems. Had a Motorola Defy phone bought second hand but couldn't unlock. “Fantastic service - repair of htc digitizer”

I've used this shop to repair my cracked digitizer on an htc Wildfire. The quote was at least 20 pounds cheaper than any other quote from local repair shops. I sent it off and after the repair, the screen wasn't responding properly. I contacted the shop and they asked me to send it back. Got it back within the week and now it is working perfectly. I was sceptical at first seen I had a bad experience with another an now use any other net work I company but thought I would give them a try? well just over 2 days later I received an email to say it was completed and to follow there instructions to un lock my I phone on I Tunes I did it and it worked.
Vodafone said they can not unlock my phone because I never purchased it from them on contract and got it of Ebay.

The battery terminals on my phone came away from the main circuit board, I took my phone back to O2 as is was still under warranty, apparently this fault is not covered and they wanted about £80 to repair it, and it would take about 2 weeks. I purchaed the debranding software for my Sony X10 mini pro but it did not work. I reported this and asked for a redund but received no reply. I then raised a Dispute with Paypal. My dispute was not upheld because:

"The item is ineligible for PayPal Buyer Protection because it is intangible."

funfoneshop stated in the dispute that I had used the software, but my login still shows "zero counters", proving I did not use the software.

<br/>you used said credit and server to flash the phone with BRANDED firmware. instead of using DEBRANDED firmware.

<br/>So basically you RE-BRANDED your phone, and wasted the credit by making this mistake, instead of reading the instructions that CLEARLY tells you to tick GENERIC firmware.

<br/>You then asked for another credit, i checked the server and saw you had used it already to flash your phone and told you you would have to buy another.

<br/>You then raised a paypal dispute stating not as described, which is a bit of a lie, as you used the credit wrongly.
<br/>
<br/>when i explained the above to paypal, sending server report showing your ip and the use of the credit to flash the phone, they agreed that you received and used the credit. hence you lost your paypal claim.

your unlock was not available and a refund was given. So why leave a review like this? We NEVER guarentee to unlock every phone. its just a shame the 110,000+ successfull unlocks performed in the last 12 months have not left a review.
