I am totally disgusted that TescoDiets have taken a payment from my card without permission or warning. I bought an 8 week plan and stopped using it after that. I was then charged for a further month as apparently you can't buy a product you enter into a continuing subscription. Why do they not send you a renewal notice? They are just money making and not interested in anything else. Use with caution!… Read Full Review

I have been with Tesco Diets since the start of January and I'm surprised to see bad reviews, as I have been really impressed. I have tried every other diet know to woman! Sometimes losing weight but always feeling hungry but for once I'm losing weight and don't spend morning noon and night thinking about food because I get to eat loads with GI plan I'm on. If you actually follow teh diet then you will lose weight, I know I've lost 1 stone 2lbs since I've started and I'm still losing. I like… Read Full Review

Unless you are confident that you are going to like the diet programme do not even consider signing up. There is no way of knowing whether or not it will suit you until you sign up, once you do there is NO cooling off period and no chance of getting your money back. I am furious with this complete con. I found the options too restrictive and not at all what I required. I tried to cancel immediately but had to wait a day. It was then I found out there is no 'right to change your mind'-Tesco you… Read Full Review

Wouldn't work on my computer despite hours of effort. Tried everything only to be told the click to buy feature had been off line and should be working.
Well thats a comfort. My view is that this is a complete and utter waste of time and most definitely money.
Maybe it will work, maybe it wont.
Do you want to take a chance ??… Read Full Review

An absolute con. Serves no purpose whatsoever, anything you will achieve through this diet you would achieve without wasting your money, and be warned, any money you part with initially, be it for short term or long, you have lost.
Whoever thought up this con had only their own pocket in mind.
I have repeatedly tried to communicate with Tesco Diet on line and they just ignore me.
I have given them one star only because I can't write these comments without giving some rating… Read Full Review

I have lost nearly a stone in 3 weeks foolowing the Tesco G.I plan. All I can say to the people who are complaining is they can't be very bright as it is really easy to follow and any help needed is provided.
If you want to lose weight this will work provided you are serious about it and don't lie to yourself and forget all those little treats you had… Read Full Review

This tesco diet really works! I was told by my docter that I must drop my weight by 4 stone. That was in June it is now September and I have lost 2 and a half stone. I have never felt hungry and the plan is easy to follow and the feed back helpful. This has been a life saver for me. No other diet has ever worked. I owe them a lot. Thank you Tesco… Read Full Review

Signed up, site would not work on my PC, would not save the changes I made to the meal plans, generate a correct shopping list, swap button didn't work etc.
Contacted Tesco approx one hour after signing up to ask for a refund- refused- told it was a prob on my PC, browser or cookies etc- offered assistance to fix it but by this point I just wanted a refund- it was not the quick and easy diet plan I had expected.
Assumed a refund would not be a problem- don't we get a cooling off period?(my… Read Full Review

I have been on the tesco diet for one week now. I am very impressed. I was convinced that I would put weight on because there seemed to be a lot of food to eat. I am getting my five a day and my full quota of water something which I have struggled with before.
The meal plans are great because if there is an ingredient you do not like it offers substitutes or alternatevly you can change the whole meal.
I am on the lower cholestrol diet, recipe based. So I am enjoying cooking again and I look… Read Full Review

I have just cancelled my subscription to tesco diets. I had to go onto the Gluten Free diet as I have recently discovered I am allergic to wheat. If you have ANY dietary requirements (even using the specialised Gluten Free Plan) the service you get will be significantly less than that offered with the other plans. They do not discount for the reduction of features and then tell you to try a non-restricted diet instead... DEFINATELY AVOID IF YOU HAVE COELIACS/ALLERGIES!!!
PS - can't give 0 stars!… Read Full Review

I can honestly say this is the best diet I have ever tried.I have been on every diet, W.W Slimming world and the last one I did the Atkins.I have shed the weight before, only to put it back on again. When I did the W.W diet,I found myself having w.w choc pud for my breakfast and crisps for my lunch. The Atkins diet 100 sausages for breakfast ect ect...The tesco diet iv been on is the high fiber diet, eating salad which Iv always hated, I now like it, tackled my craving and… Read Full Review

Tesco Diet has nice, tasty quick recipes for evening meals, easy to order menu contents on-line and have it delivered at home, weekly weigh-ins, support from others on the same diet I have a full day - I'm up at 6am and out with two very active dogs for an hour and half, then back, ready for work and spend a day chasing deadlines, to eventually get home at 7pm. I wasn't sure that this diet would work for me - but it has, and I've found it easy to follow. The menu plans are very flexible and… Read Full Review

I am on the Totals plan with tescodiets. This is great for me and I am cooking for my other half and two adult children as well. Most days I would have the same as them for our main evevning meal but my portions would be smaller. I did do unislim a few years ago but I only had one class a week and you had to stay behind if you wanted to chat to the leader. I can email them at anytime and they have a chat line too. I have lost 7lbs so far and only have a few more to go so will keep at it… Read Full Review

In order to express a fair point of view, I think it is only right to have actually tried the actual diet so I hope that certain reviews have not put people off as I can honestly say that if the plan is followed properly, you should notice a good weight loss. I have been on the Tesco GI diet now for just 7 weeks and have found it so easy to use and extremely effective. My starting weight was 10 stone, and I have lost 9lbs, which I am pleased with because with most other diets it would take me a… Read Full Review

I have just finished with Tesco Diets, why - because I have lost 2 stone 4lbs woohooo! I joined back in August 2008 after trying a few different diets which just didn't seem to work or were just impossible to stick to. I tried everything at one time or another, so when I saw this online I thought that I would give it a go. I'd been to slimming clubs before and always hated the weighing in part. I felt patronised by the leader- maybe it was just my local club but it put me off the idea… Read Full Review

I joined Tesco diets just after Christmas and I think they are great. Yes they give you a meal plan, but you can add your own meals to it and remove ingredients too " very handy as I hate mushrooms. I get feedback & help every week when I weigh in " aswell as a new plan for the week ahead . Even better I can ask for all of this to be stuck in my tesco.com shopping basket. I record my weight in the morning, send my list off to be done on line there and then and when I check my .com at… Read Full Review

I signed up today to tesco diets, and realised within the hour that it wasnt going to be suitable for me. that isnt to say the service isnt good for some - but i specifically wanted to record and monitor my measurements and have more flexible eating plan - this is very regimantal and there is no way of adding your own recipes etc - you have to follow one of their plans. The diet plans looked to be quite good
I contacted customer services by email within an hour of signing up to explain my… Read Full Review

It's really easy to follow, with lots of support, I've been a member for 2 and half years, I stay for the new recipes that they are constantly adding & for the community boards, everyone keeps me so motivated.
