I cannot believe how many years I have struggled to pay high street optician charges in order to see! These are amazing value and the service second to none- I have already recommended Specs by post to family this morning and will return very soon to buy more now I can afford too! I have had 4 pairs of varifocal glasses over a few years from Specs By Post. All pairs have been perfect both in their fitting, and in their varifocal lenses. Linsey, is so helpful when ordering and I have "one off" exclusive frames and lens shapes, at a very reasonable price. I can recommend them every time and if you have any queries regarding frames or lenses, nothing is too much trouble for them to offer constructive suggestions. I had whole heartedly recommend this Company.

Placed an order on Monday and received two pairs, one reading, of glasses today! That is a 48 hr service to my door for less than £70.00! I have been through lots of specs this year and find that they are too heavy for my face. Thought I would give this company a go as my prescription is new and was not happy with the previous company I had been using in the high street. I was shocked at the price, happily, when told by a great girl who helped me go through my order, that two pairs would be under £70.00. This got me a little worried as that was half the price I would have normally paid just for one pair. I can not tell you how delighted I am with these specs. They are light, nice bright colours and fit, added bonus that I can actually see! Some might say the quality is not the best or that I have not got a flash logo on the side!!! I have spent an absolute fortune on those types of glasses and just thrown away my hard earned money, so I am thrilled with these. In fact I just ordered two more pairs to keep at the office so that I always have a spare. I am very pleased with the company , staff and product and most of all the price.

Really taken aback by the appalling customer service and product here. (Unfortunately i can't leave less than 2 stars). I'd been using some glasses with my prescription for a year and bought some new frames to be made up the same. My glasses arrived quickly and unfortunately the prescription in them was not correct. I couldn't see out of them without feeling very dizzy! I booked in for an eye test with my optician as i was due a test. As my prescription had changed, I rang back to see if they would update the glasses (made wrongly) with my new prescription (the optician cfm'd that the prescription was indeed incorrect in them!) Not only did they refuse to do this with no fee..they refused to believe me and were abusive and shouty over the phone?! Unbelievable, unfriendly and unprofessional, I'm astounded..avoid like the plague!!

I'm a support worker for an autistic lady who has a habit of breaking my glasses. I was sick of waiting WEEKS for my glasses to come in and suffering with headaches! So I gave specs by post a go. Thought what have I got to lose? £20... Saw a pair I liked the look of and ordered to my prescription. THEY ARRIVED THE NEXT DAY!!!! And not only that! They came with a lovely case and a slip wallet thingy! £20! I actually love them! They're so lovely! And I don't need to worry about my client breaking them! Because I can order another pair and they will be here the next day!!! Specsavers eat your heart out!

My daughter recommend specs by post as she has used them many times in the past. I sent a pair of favourite sunglasses to be reglazed with prescription lenses on Monday morning......unbelievably they were back with us on Thursday! Such reasonable prices and amazing service. Will be highly recommending on to all my family and friends.

Sent my frames off for re-glazing on Monday, and they were back with me by Thursday - fantastic service, and unbelievably cheap (£22 for my standard lenses with an anti-reflection coating). I have also used Spec by Post for putting prescription lenses into my 'fashion' sunglasses, and they did a great job for a very reasonable fee. Cannot recommend highly enough.

I ordered a pair a glasses costing £12 in the morning, and the postman delivered them the next morning, I was amazed. The quality is equal to the large Opticians in the high street. They are soooo recommendable

I sent my glasses off on Saturday morning to have them re-glazed. They were delivered back to me on Wednesday morning. The lenses are very clean and the workmanship seems excellent. I paid £32 pounds to have Ultra thin lenses put into my frames. And the service is very fast at Specs By Post. I paid to have Royal Mail Delivery there and back. I was informed about the process of my order all the way of each stage by e-mail. Specs By Post is excellent. I have used them for glasses before, and will use them again in the future. This is the first time I have used them for a re-glaze. I chose Specs By Post for a re-glaze because they have a lot of very good re-glaze reviews. And their ordering process is so simple. You just print off the order form, choose what lenses you want, and fill in what your prescription is on the form. I also sent my original prescription off with the order form and requested them to post it back to me, on return of my glasses, which they did. I would highly recommend them! Superb!

Specs ordered at lunchtime, despatched that afternoon, received next day by standard delivery. Even though frames are the cheapest they look good and strong. Very impressed.

I have used the Specs by Post reglazing service 4 times in the last couple of years with excellent results. Very speedy, no problems with the lenes and a friendly/helpful service. This week a ordered a pair of £20 glasses paying the minimum postage they cost me less than £25. Ordered on Thursday evening and arrived on Saturday morning. It won't be long before I am back!

This is the second time I've used Specs by post and they are brilliant, I paid £32.00 (excluding postage)for a re-glaze which included ultra lightweight lens with anti glare and super hard protective coating. I downloaded the forms but struggled to fill in the prescription part so I photocopied my prescription and sent that in with the form. My partner also sent his glasses in at the same time and we opted to pay online by paypal which we were pleased to see that when the payment request came through we were only charged for one lot of return postage, we got the payment request via email yesterday and our glasses were returned today - fantastic. Even better the prescription is just right and everything is now very very clear, including my wrinkles - groan - I would definitely recommend this company and want to say a big well done and thank you for excellent service,perfect lens' and a speedy return.

I found Spec-by-post on a Google search after being told by D&A that it would cost be £140+ to reglaze the glasses i brought from their shop 3 years ago!! I saw the positive reviews on here and contacted Specs by post and the lady was so helpful I decided to use their service. I posted my glasses on Wednesday and I received my glasses back today (Monday) with new lenses and paid just £27 including the special delivery. I can't believe what a quick and efficient service they have provided and I will definitely be recommend the reglazing services to anybody I can! I never usually bother to write reviews but I am seriously impressed.
