I have had the most terrible experience with o2 ,after 30 day ( just outside the timescale when you can take your fone back) 02 decided to change my bill and make it more expensive than was agreed and said that if I wanted out the contract I would have to pay over £2000 I then moved house before hand checked the coverage in the area which was great. “Terrible service”

I am currently finishing my 24 month contract with o2 and as a user I wouldnt recommend it to anyone else, first of all the line is expensive than most of the networks out there and the network quality is poor. “Rude, Rude, Rude”

I rang up for a friend trying to unlock his iPhone PAYG as he had moved and no longer had a signal with O2. After 3 phone calls to customer services who gave out all sorts of different reasons for not unlocking the phone it was escalated to a manager. Eeeeek he was so rude and abnoxious that I cannot believe you are legally allowed to talk to customers in that way, it was shocking. “Disgraceful, Terrible Service!”

After being with o2 for nearly 3 years on sim only deal, decided to upgrade to a phone/sim contract. Over 2 months (May to July)I received horrendous service from advisors both online and contact centres. One online chat of (9 chats altogether) I had for over an hour late in the evening was never emailed to me and when I rang up there was no record of this been recorded on the system. I was on a contractwhich finished and went to pay as you go they sent my new sim card and I told the phone operator I had moved house he sent the sim card to my address.9 months later I received a letter from a dept agency saying i owed o2 10 pounds and I was a bad deptor this had gone on my experian account.When I phoned o2 they said they sent the final bill to my old address and as I didnt pay they had passed to a dept agency. “O2 will cost me my home”

They put a default notice on my credit file for £10 without contacting me first to tell me I was in arrear. It was for a mobile broadband device I was mis sold... it doesn't wok on my Applemac computer. When I contacted them they cleared the £10 straight away and apologised that I was mis sold a product but that the default notice still remains!! Now I cannot remortgage my house. “Shocking customer service”

If you have hours to hang about on the phone for some customer service or hours to wait on-line for someone to be bothered to respond to the chat device, then O2 is for you. The customer service experience is just shocking. I have three contracts with them and will move all three at the end of the contracts. Have had an o2 payg phone for over 5 years and have found them to be excellent. Always have a signal, any issues I have had, there have been very few, have been sorted out quickly. I get free text bundles when topping up which is a big bonus for me because I text more than anything else. “Deeply Dissapointing”

“Horrendous Customer Service”

I have been with O2 for many years and had a few contracts. January this year I cancelled a contract as I didn't want to renew it. I had opened a recent bank statement and noticed O2 had TAKEN money from my bank account in March and April and when I called customer service to see what they was playing at they told me I wouldn't be reimbursed as they did not log the call I made to cancel the contact. “Not recommended - not one tiny bit!”
