“Fraud investigation”

In June 2011 two O2 accounts were opened fraudulently in my sons name, one being a business account. The first we knew of them was a bill from O2 in July 2011 which we responded to by phoning O2 and questioning what was happening. Since then the situation has escalated with debt collecting companies contacting my son and now solicitors. “They used to be the best”

Been with O2 for 8 years, any problems were sorted quickly, you paid a bit more because if that, recently had trouble with them taking money with out myself knowing, rude sarcastic help line, passed around for two hours, still not had money back 3 weeks later, they are awful now , signal getting worse . 3G is dodgy even in a built up area… Read Full Review

I move from Three to 02 a year ago thinking the coverage was better. Silly me that was a terrible mistake, the 3G speed was so much slower,. 02 thinks they have great coverage , yes they do on 2g but it almost impossible to browse then internet and you cannot stream music. 3G coverage is a joke as well especially here at London. I changed to 02 from 3 six months ago. Cant wait to change back as I have to gp to the end of the garden to make or receive calls. I've been with O2 this year, 2013 and I have to say the network coverage is non-existent. I live in north devon and travel to the home counties and midlands. No matter where I go the data coverage is pathetic - I very rarely get 3G and normally end up with GPRS which is as good as nothing. Even BT Wi-Fi is better! My contract came to an end and I wanted to change to pay as you go. I wanted to take my existing number over with me. They disconnected my contract early Friday morning disconnected my new pay as you go sim too and left me without a phone connection till the following Tuesday. ive had a problem this morning with o2 top-up not crediting my wifes phone after the £15 top was taken from my account, the bank has confirmed this with a transaction id. 2 hours of phone calls and im now waiting for a manager to call me back, but the way ive been dealt with so far im not expecting a call. Terrible network. Lost count of the number of UK locations where I have been unable to obtain a signal or lost it half way through whatever I have been doing. O2 customer service used to be the differential between them and the cheaper options out there. Unfortunately this has taken quite a nosedive. You can not get through on their customer service lines with over an hours wait and if you dare complain about it you get told to wait in the queue like everyone else from their complaints team. They dont seem to take notes from previous calls. The company they use to deliver mobile phones are as incompetent as they are. You wait on the phone for up to 1 hour. At 8.45pm when I decided to phone them yesterday I was told it would be over an hour but they close at 9pm and so would probably not get through to them. “terrible service, especially bad for students”

I have topped up around 60 pound this month as i have recently moved from n. ireland but noone in scotand seems to be on o2 so it was costing me to ring/ text them everytime. so it made more sence to move to tesco mobile where i can text/ call other networks for free. i then wrote to o2 to get my pac number to transfer my phone number over and they told me i can only ring off my o2 phone- that now has no credit or a landline ~(which i dont have as i live in halls of residence). i cannot ring… Read Full Review

I have had the most terrible experience with o2 ,after 30 day ( just outside the timescale when you can take your fone back) 02 decided to change my bill and make it more expensive than was agreed and said that if I wanted out the contract I would have to pay over £2000 I then moved house before hand checked the coverage in the area which was great.
