ive had a problem this morning with o2 top-up not crediting my wifes phone after the £15 top was taken from my account, the bank has confirmed this with a transaction id. 2 hours of phone calls and im now waiting for a manager to call me back, but the way ive been dealt with so far im not expecting a call. “An Absolute Joke!”

Terrible network. Lost count of the number of UK locations where I have been unable to obtain a signal or lost it half way through whatever I have been doing. My advice to anyone thinking of joining O2 would be steer well clear. “Disgraceful customer service even from their...”

O2 customer service used to be the differential between them and the cheaper options out there. Unfortunately this has taken quite a nosedive. You can not get through on their customer service lines with over an hours wait and if you dare complain about it you get told to wait in the queue like everyone else from their complaints team. I have been an O2 customer for 9 years, during which time I have simultaneously held accounts with Three, Vodafone and Lebara, allowing me to make reliable comparisons between the providers. They dont seem to take notes from previous calls. The company they use to deliver mobile phones are as incompetent as they are. You wait on the phone for up to 1 hour. At 8.45pm when I decided to phone them yesterday I was told it would be over an hour but they close at 9pm and so would probably not get through to them. “terrible service, especially bad for students”

I have topped up around 60 pound this month as i have recently moved from n. ireland but noone in scotand seems to be on o2 so it was costing me to ring/ text them everytime. so it made more sence to move to tesco mobile where i can text/ call other networks for free. i then wrote to o2 to get my pac number to transfer my phone number over and they told me i can only ring off my o2 phone- that now has no credit or a landline ~(which i dont have as i live in halls of residence). i cannot ring… Read Full Review

I have had the most terrible experience with o2 ,after 30 day ( just outside the timescale when you can take your fone back) 02 decided to change my bill and make it more expensive than was agreed and said that if I wanted out the contract I would have to pay over £2000 I then moved house before hand checked the coverage in the area which was great. I rang up for a friend trying to unlock his iPhone PAYG as he had moved and no longer had a signal with O2. After 3 phone calls to customer services who gave out all sorts of different reasons for not unlocking the phone it was escalated to a manager. Eeeeek he was so rude and abnoxious that I cannot believe you are legally allowed to talk to customers in that way, it was shocking. Over 2 months (May to July)I received horrendous service from advisors both online and contact centres. I was on a contractwhich finished and went to pay as you go they sent my new sim card and I told the phone operator I had moved house he sent the sim card to my address.9 months later I received a letter from a dept agency saying i owed o2 10 pounds and I was a bad deptor this had gone on my experian account.When I phoned o2 they said they sent the final bill to my old address and as I didnt pay they had passed to a dept agency. “O2 will cost me my home”

They put a default notice on my credit file for £10 without contacting me first to tell me I was in arrear. It was for a mobile broadband device I was mis sold... it doesn't wok on my Applemac computer. When I contacted them they cleared the £10 straight away and apologised that I was mis sold a product but that the default notice still remains!! Now I cannot remortgage my house.
