    I drive to Nottingham, from Guildford every week along the M1 for work. With my work cellnet phone, the call drops all the time, i managed 6 minutes once, and if you take the countryside route to aviod the queues then there is practically no signal at all.

    Cellnet coverage is very bad near the top of the hill overlooking Bingley. Signal strength varies wildly which means you can make very short calls, and network congestion is bad too. Down in the town service is much better.

    On a journey on the M1/A1 between London and Durham (which I do twice a week, there is NO point at which I can maintain a connection for more than two minutes on BT Cellnet.     The best coverage available in rural Derbyshire. I rarely have problems. Those who say coverage is poor on Cellnet must have a cr*p phone - I have Philips Genie and it works where many phones have problems.

    I live near Guildford in a built up urban area, and the coverage is virtually non existent within about a 20 mile radius south of Guildford. even when you do get a signal, the call is really unclear. The area is much better served by one2one than any other network (my current provider) much clearer ...
