    AVOID. AVOID. AVOID.

Why? - Where do I start?!

    COVERAGE / SIGNAL
I do a lot of travelling around, so can honestly generalise the UK as a whole here... This is probably the most important aspect of a mobile phone service. Without this area being up to scratch, no amount of fancy handset gadget ...

My girlfriend and I had a contract with the O2 mobile phone network for the last year. Value was ok, and the phones you get are quite good. During the course of the year, If I wanted to contact customer services I had to do it by telephone, as their email service DOES NOT WORK AT ALL, EVERY time it ...

I can't believe this keeps happening, but in the last week, since my last lot of problems, the O2 mobile phone network billed me for every single call made, even though I'm on a 200 mins per month contract. That's £42.

This time they paid up, but not back into my bank, they credited the O2 ...

According to all the reviews here the O2 mobile phone network is completely useless!!! Im sorry but i have to disagree! I will admit the Customer Service is not great, i work in the sector so i know good and theres im afraid is not. Also the cost to call them is VERY HIGH!! But in there defence if t ...

The O2 Network offer little compared to the competition other than the good points I showed above. They're not necessarily the cheapest, but why combine this with poor customer care as well!! If you don't keep track of your bills year after year, and don't care if you're costs go up (even if your ...

Every year I complain about O2 but every year I stay with them. I get so much grief, but as I'm a step away from leaving the network, they suddenly tuurn on the begging charm and make offers that are very tempting. It works, I've stayed with them for years, but I want to leave again after they st ...

Having had business with them in their various incarnations for about 10 years, the service offered by O2 is worse now than at any other time in that history. The call queues to get through to customer services have been in excess of 30 mins for well over six months now if calling at peak periods. ...

    O2 - online - a.k.a Genie
I joined expecting an efficient modern e-service but had problems from day one.

Firstly I was under the impression that O2 and O2 online were one in the same company - wrong, O2 online are called Genie and have nothing to do with O2.

My passwords were not recognised ...

Expensive, confusing tariffs just like their parent company B.T. O2 is the worst network by far. Customer services are appalling and have always been, just like their parent company. offpeak on PAYG are 1930-0730, why can;t their off-peak be from 1800 like T-mobile. Definately would not recommend o2 ...

OK, so all of the above about O2 is true, but if you didn't have to call customer service and you weren't worried about knowing when somebody left you a voice message, you might get by. However, when I renewed my contract with O2 last year, they offered an attractive line rental of £35 / mont ...
