I'v had the Sony Ericsson W580i phone since January this was my 2nd as the 1st one all the buttons this one has .button on the top right has fell off the buttons on the keypad have cracked and i now have white flickering lines constantly on left side of screen and my menu keeps turning luminous pink ...

The Sony Ericsson W580i feels good and is really easy to use, love the camera operation. Access to battery and sim card is really difficult. Apart from the difficulty in access to battery/Sim, a really good phone

Unless you take extremely good care of phones and your willing to text with a cottonball on your fingers so that the buttons dont crack.... dont get this piece a rubbish phone.

Great style, lots of features great sound quality. The build quality is awful. If I press the select button, it falls off. I like the Sony Ericsson W580i shake feature, good memory, nice and bright, lovely colours. Overall, a good phone just wished that the keypad lasted longer.

Sony Ericsson W580i replaces my old motorola v600, and as far as I'm concerned it leaves it standing. Battery life could be longer but it's straight forward and easy to use

I am on my 8th since christmas,the buttons crack,the phone freezes and goes off. Orange will not swap for a new one now, so now every button is cracked and its always going off! Love the phone just a shame it so cheaply made. I would not recommend buying one.

At first this phone seemed great. The ring is very loud, the music player is great and comes with good earphones. The camera is stunning for a 2MP. Battery life of almost a week without needing a charge.
However it doesn't last long. The number buttons fall apart or fall off even with next to no use ...

I haven't had a good experience with the Sony Ericsson W580i phone proved by the amount of times it has broken. I think it should have been tested more more and given more time to construct. Nevertheless if you are just looking or a music phone then this is a reasonably good phone for you.
