I ordered a special bouquet of flowers for my mum for Mothers Day but it has not been delivered!! I am so upset - I live nearly 200 miles away and was not able to visit today so chose M&S as they promised delivery on a Sunday and I assumed the flowers would be high quality. Helpline to chase delivery company cut me off 4 times so I gave up! Contacted M&S online who could do nothing apart from arrange re-delivery on Tues!!! UNITED STATES OF AMERICA CUSTOMERS - BE WARNED!
M&S DO NOT DISCLOSE THAT US CUSTOMS WOULD DELAY ORDER BY 3 WEEKS. (I will be in the UK before order arrives, if at all). USPS UNABLE TO OFFER STATUS WITH TRACKING NUMBERS PROVIDED BY M&S CUSTOMER SERVICE.

These people are a disaster. Flowers ordered on Tuesday for next day delivery. Technical fault so didn't deliver. As flowers had been sat in a warehouse all day, I asked for a new order to replace these flowers, which were not suitable to be delivered. The second order was then also subject to a delay, the first order was not canceled as per instructions, but was then delivered, (by this time I had ordered some flowers with another supplier). I had flowers bought for me for my birthday, they were from an M&S store,so i cant comment on delivery. The flowers failed to open, went brown and died. I made a complaint via email,within 24hrs i had a positive response. M&S have sent me vouchers so i can replace them . I've used M&S for flower deliveries several times. Very hit and miss. Condition of flowers and packaging can be disappointing. Latest complaint is that the gift card is difficult to locate in the packaging and the printing so small that it's almost unreadable… Read Full Review

Flower delivery service. I sent a large willow basket containing a peace lily, kalandiva, pink rose, white azalea and trailing ivy to my mother for her 85th birthday. Within a couple of weeks it had started to die off, though she didn't tell me until after three weeks because she thought it would upset me. By this time it was mostly dead. 14.2.11 My boyfriend ordered for me 12 red roses to be delivered Saturday 12th February. I was out in the afternoon and my neighbour noticed a box lying just near the pavement outside my flat addressed to me. She took the box in. Inside was an air tight plastic bag with 12 red roses. I thought this to be unusual as there was no water and no air pockets in the bag. Inside was a note to say the bag is especially sealed to protect the flowers. OK so M&S have some kudos as a quality outlet and supplier of fine foods/wine etc. However this does not extend to thier online ordering & delivery service which is shockingly inept technically and frankly not fit for purpose (cue email with stats etc what was that about lies damn lies and statistics?) I ordered flowers for my friend's birthday. They arrived a week late due to weather conditions, only to find out that they had arrived dead !
My friend contacted them and made a complaint and was told they would deliver fresh ones on the saturday, that was a week ago and nothing has been sent.

Read the reviews and believe the messages, unfortunately the call centre couldn't advise on where missing products were either! - A great help. Even if they were very polite about it and did try to help!

I am appalled at the service i have recieved from what i once considered a company that was reliable and provided great customer service. I ordered flowers for my sick friend in hospital that were meant to be delivered the following day - to cut a very long story short they arrived a week later when she had been discharged. I received a beautiful birthday gift of a lily bouquet and glass vase. The delivery was on time and no problems with the packaging.
It's three weeks later now and I've just had to split the flowers into another vase! the buds are still opening and there are too many flowers to fit in one.

I ordered the Champagne, Chocolates and Rose Basket for my daughter's 40th birthday. As delivery time could not be guaranteed and we were going to the Peak District for her birthday, ordered delivery for day before. Parcel arrived - a fruit basket had been delivered! Twice now I have ordered flowers from M&S and they have not arrived.
On both occasions the matter was sorted and the flowers did eventually arrive but each time it took several phone calls and the flowers where days late - not what you want when they are a present!

I ordered a bouque of flowers to cheer up my girlfriend on Monday morning set for delivery the next day. Follow the next day at 5pm and nothing has been delivered. Rang and spoke to a non helpful customer service advisor whom I quote said, 'Sorry there's nothing I can do'.
