“Dreadful! Hopeless Service”

Flowers ordered for next day delivery. 3 days later advised not done, full refund given next day promised. 3days later email rec'd saying flowers not delivered due to water damage!! I phoned to find out. New 'nominated' day (joke) given for following day - a Saturday. Office address so no good. Monday promised then cancelled as Bank Holiday. £10 offered and rejected as derisory. “Flowers never delivered ”

Placed order, got confirmation. No delivery. Phone call from customer services to apologise. Immediate refund and bouquet re-ordered for no cost to me. Happy days....or so I think. Expected contact from recipient on delivery day, nothing, so tracked online. Flowers damaged again by courier and not delivered. “DISAPPOINTED CUSTOMER”

I absolutely agree about the 'no water' policy. However laudable this aim, and it is, it is not working.
A bouquet arrived from my son for me on Mother's Day afternoon. I did exactly as instructed;, cut the ends, put in the liquid feed and put them in water up to their necks. The chrysanthemums were droopy and one effectively dead. The roses were fully out with curly outer petals. They did not rehydrate as on the instructions. It is horrid to have to tell someone that your gift is not up to standard. But I did tell my son and he contacted M&S. To their credit they gave him a full refund, a fresh bouquet for me and a £10 voucher. Sadly the second bouquet - again 'no water' - was not a lot better but I haven't the heart to tell him again. It spoils the pleasure of the gift to keep complaining.

“DON'T DO IT!!!”

I had ordered flowers for my wife to be to arrive the night before our wedding. I received confirmation by text and email that they had been delivered. They had not. I had to call their helpline on the morning of my wedding only to be told that the flowers had been delivered. When I insisted they hadn't they put me on hold to check. Absolutely appalling from M&S! I ordered a summertime gift bag well in advance for a Wednesday - waited all day and guess what? - NO FLOWERS! They didn't show up the following day either - a tracking number was provided for a courier which was anyone's guess as the name of it was not provided! This gets better... “Don't bother.”

This is the second bouquet of flowers which were unsatisfactory and the last purchase of flowers I will make from M&S. You should all know that these wonderfully pictured flowers will arrive in a rectangular brown cardboard box with various labels attached to it. I wish I'd found this website before I used M&S because apparently failure to deliver is not uncommon! I ordered Birthday flowers from M&S for my Mum's birthday; due to be delivered on her birthday which was a Saturday. I ordered alstroemeria abundance flowers to be sent to a relative who had a bereavement. “Poor delivery service”

A relative who has recently celebrated her 100th birthday naturally was sent flowers by several people.... after all, what else can you give a 100 year old? The Marks & Spencer delivery driver told neighbours that he was not allowed to lift the flowers out of his van, but was persuaded that on this occasion the recipient could not be expected to collect them herself. Well since my review to M&S's website was rejected (surprise surprise they don't like bad reviews) I have decided to post it on here instead. I am working overseas and ordered some Flowers for my wife for delivery on a Saturday. I received the email on Friday saying they were delivered to the depot and scheduled for delivery on Saturday. Nothing turned up. When I went on the CityLink (M&S Courier) website and entered the tracking code, they had them for delivery on Monday. Tried to phone CityLink customer service... No joy.. Closed. “VALENTINE DAY FLOWERS”

Friend ordered flowers for me for Valentine's day. Ordered on Tuesday 12 February 2013 for delivery on 14th Feb. Flowers failed to appear. This is disgusting. Offer made late on evening 14th for a gift card as apology. This does not compensate for flowers sent for a special event. I have advised friends not to use Marks and Spencer for a special event delivery of flowers as they are totally unreliable. “In transit too long”

I ordered the Pink Autograph Rose Bouquet on 1st March for my aunt's 80th birthday. I chose the nominated day 4th March because that was the day of her birthday.
