“Disappointing ”

Was so excited to receive a gift of hundred daffodils for mothers' day what a lovely thought. Very sad to report that over half of them are dead less than a week later. Do better M&S.

“Shrivelled up Roses”

★☆☆☆☆

written by Kendaw21 on 16/02/2024

Ordered a dozen roses for my wife on Valentines day, but have to say we were left totally disappointed with the flowers The heads were all tainted and brown.and the greenery with a distinct wilted look I was so embarrassed to give her these for Valentines Day I bought from M&S because I thought I would be getting quality, but sadly not I've tried contacting customer service by e mail but no response, I tried to leave a reveiw on their io reveiw page but it wouldn't upload, I will never use m&s again, such a shame

“Order anywhere else if you want flowers to arrive on time”

★☆☆☆☆

written by DianeRidley on 13/09/2023

Very upset that the flowers I ordered 2 days ago 'guaranteed' delivery for today, my mum's 89th birthday, did not arrive. I spent 2 hours being passed from pillar to post trying to resolve this in time but they did not seem to understand that a delivery on any other day than her birthday was unacceptable. I had to make a very uncomfortable call to my mum that the surprise we had entrusted M&S with had instead left me upset, angry and red faced. Will NEVER use them again! Go elsewhere!

written by Kentrv277 on 11/05/2023

Have just received flowers from marks & Spencer ordered online from my daughter. They are disgusting, half dead and about a quarter of the size of the picture. She purposely picked it as she knows I love peonies, didn’t contain any!!! Absolute rubbish and complete waste of money, shame on you marks & Spencer

“Wilted Flowers”

My wife received some flowers, from her son, for Mothers Day. They were wilted, and in terrible condition. Only place to put them was in the bin. Massive waste of money.

“Wilted and not worth the money ”

★☆☆☆☆

written by SharonHbristle on 18/03/2023

My son ordered flowers for me for Mother’s Day and they were very disappointing. They were a small bunch and wilted and very poor value. Next year I think he’ll go to Lidl as theirs were bigger and half the price! Come on M&S get your act together from a loyal but very dissatisfied customer

I I ordered flowers for my mom and very disappointed with the bouquet. Flowers all withered and definitely not worth the money, if I lived closer would rather buy flowers from Asda or Tesco but ordered from M&S for special day and would have thought with the reputation they that the flowers would have been good quality

“Valentine's Day let down!”

★☆☆☆☆

written by nothatsnotme on 14/02/2023

Despite telling all couriers we have NO OUTSIDE SAFE PLACE, DPD dumped the flowers outside, in subzero temperatures and in full view of the road. That they survived till I found then is miraculous. The flowers were loose in the box rather than in the strap fitted to the box in order to protect them. The courier ignored the markings on the box and dumped the flowers so they were lying on the blooms - or at least, what started as blooms! I've not given them as the present they were intended for, they're not up to the standard you'd expect to present them to someone! I'll never buy from M&S Flowers again and will discourage people I do buy from from using DPD.

“Terrible flower delivery”

★☆☆☆☆

written by Yareli16 on 07/02/2023

M&S used DPD for our flower delivery, and they were utterly useless. Despite the clear labelleing on the box, it was not stored in the right position, something had been placed on it, and as a result it was delivered to us damaged with the flowers all squashed upside down. No online mechanism to complain or obtain an (even partial) refund. Complete disgrace, will never use again.

“Poor and wilted ”

★★☆☆☆

written by Lucia458 on 06/02/2023

My sister sent me roses and freesias today as it is my 79th birthday tomorrow and I immediately opened after the Courier delivered them. The leaves were all wilted and petals on roses were curled and not at all fresh. Dare not tell my 82 year old sister. This is not the first time. No good complaining as they do NOTHING. Save your money and go elsewhere.

“Sad Protea.”

★★☆☆☆

written by taLyons266 on 06/02/2023

My son bought me a bunch of mixed Protea and Feinbos as part of Birthday present. To say they were disappointing is an understatement. The large Protea never came out and the smaller ones are yet to make an appearance, some of the dried flowers were all bent and had to go straight in the bin. I feel so sorry for my son, though I would never tell him .He knew I would enjoy the collection, as I lived in South Africa for a few years and saw the genuine article on the Garden Route.

“Utter Sham”

★☆☆☆☆

written by SailorGirl68 on 28/12/2022

I ordered the Red Amaryllis Bouquet for a sick friend for Christmas. Despite several emails advising of delivery times they didn’t arrive. They finally arrived on Christmas Eve very late. My dog growled, I went to the door to find the box dumped on the drive with no sign of the courier. The box was crushed, the blooms all damaged and dry flowers having been in transit 2-3 days(according to tracking) I then have the hassle of sourcing flowers from another supplier. This is the second time M flowers have let me down. Looking at these reviews I should have read them before ordering.

“Disappointed with M&S Flowers”

Very poor quality. Flowers arrived limp, battered, bruised, with some flower heads broken off. Two stems broken. Not what I would expect from M&S. Will not be recommending this service.

“Christmas present bouquet ”

★★☆☆☆

written by 246Blake on 23/12/2022

Flowers delivered in a box that looked as if an elephant stood on it. Pink and white stripy carnations arranged with orange mini chrysanthemum. Ghastly combination of colours obviously chosen by someone with no taste. Will have to pretend that the bouquet was beautiful.

It's just what they do! C rap quality - in our case, mainly because of a s hit ty delivery company who no-one in their right mind would employ.
