Bought the Freeway II in June 2010. During the first couple of rounds it would just go to zero on the speed display and I had to disconnect and reconnect the battery - No great problem and put it down to just a glitch. Then the thing just refused to go one day and the screen displayed "enter password". Went back to a repair centre and got it back about a month later. Still got the zeroing problem. Then the bottom strap broke on the bottom for no apparent reason but I was luckily playing at a… Read Full Review

Absolute disgrace, £700 and a waste of money!
Infuriated and want the company to be accountable for its contempt to its customers
To be honest, there are many companies struggling now and I can only hope that PK goes out of business for its injustice to loyal hard working people

Spent around £700 on my freeway2. Faults observed include poor stability on hilly ground, controls difficult to use, starts and stops of it's own accord, screen mists up, refuses to go in a straight line. Battery has performed well over a 2 year period. After repair by local agent decided to call it a day and agent has agreed to sell on my behalf and donate the proceeds to a cancer charity. Hopefully someone will benefit from my misfortune… Read Full Review

Having been a Powakaddy user for years the Freeway II has been a major let down. I notice that it has been replaced with the "all new" Sport model which looks identical except for the "Sport" decal and teh new handle with two of the old fashioned rotary speed controllers! Every review I have read about the Powakaddy Freeway II hates the fixed speed buttons - so why don't Powacaddy "upgrade" all interested Freeway II owners to the new "new ergonomic soft grip handle, built-in responsive speed… Read Full Review

Mike Horne I bought a FW2 in December 2010 it has broken down almost everytime I have played Powakaddy have had it for over 5 weeks they are blatant liars claiming to have done repairs and upgrades when clearly they hadnt. Once questioned they made some story up claiming an admin error. In a nut shell i wish I had never bought this trolley it is rubbish inferior and spoils my game, powakaddy themselfs are rude arrogant and most un-helpfull My advice is to avoid this company like the plague… Read Full Review

I can only endorse all that has been said on this forum. I am on my 4th FWII and the problems are still there. More worryingly Powakaddy do not care. They have the most appalling attitude of if you don't like it - tough ! If anyone has had a satisfactory response from them can they please publish it on this web site ? Their rep freely admits that they know there are a number of dissatisfied customers but company policy is just let them prattle on - no one will take any notice of them. Perhaps… Read Full Review

I brought a fw1 trolley and was really happy, never failed me and really easy to use, I up graded to fw2 and it has had few teething problems but overall really happy with product, good for hilly courses. Heard powakaddy are launching a fw sport this year and from what I have heard this going to be the elite trolley and I have had a sneaky trial and
All I can say is well done powakaddy… Read Full Review

Poacaddy freeway 2 I s the product most likely to ruin a good days golf .I have owned the old model forsome years without a problem and purchased the fway 2 which was the worst decision I have ever. Made the roller cotroller has never had a problem so who in their rightmind would. Decide to change this for a 9 speed push button . I will never go near Powacaddy again. Ps te service agent told me they were rubbish. He didnt need to I already knew it. Keep your sanity dont go near wheres the no… Read Full Review

FW2 lithium purchased end of 2009, paid 600 quid and the only good thing about this trolley is the battery, on a hilly course it has never faltered. As for the trolley I will give you one piece of very genuine advice AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Display misting up, axle breaking, screws falling out, rubber around switches splitting, fiddly controls and now its just stopped. Press the button and nothing, no nothing happens. E mailed powakaddy and they have not had the decency to reply… Read Full Review

so funny reading these comments. Painfully true. I've still got my freeway 2 but it is like Trigger from "Only Fools and Horses" broom, except his broom was 20 years old! I bought mine because i thought the motocaddys look flimsy, but even if everything else on the fw2 worked, the speed control is annoying and a dial would be better. AVOID. I agree that powakaddy should've recalled them. It was my first electric and I expected a better piece of kit froma brand I thought had a good rep. I'll… Read Full Review

I purchased a new Freeway II in March 2010 and it has had to be repaied on 3 occasions since then. The first time was an issue with the battery where the connection point plastic split.
The second time was when the wheel shaft snapped half way around the course. And the latest issue where the trolley would only move at one speed SLOW again forcing us to abandon a round.
During the year I have had it it has had a new battery connection point installed, a new wheel shaft, a new display, a new… Read Full Review

I purchased my Freeway 2 Lithium 3 months ago, within 2 weeks it had to be replaced as water got into the screen, speeds are either too slow or too fast, stopped working again yesterday!!!!! for over £600 you would expect a quality product, wish I had't bothered. AVOID… Read Full Review

I bought a Freeway II which is my first electric trolley, and am very disspointed.
The speed control is not very responsive, you set off and if one speed is too slow, when increasing the setting, it takes a long time to kick in and get to speed. speed 4 is too slow, speed 5 is too fast
I've had it for about a year and a half and over the last couple of months, the speed control has decided to change speed on its own, most of the time going up to its highest speed and I can't turn it off without… Read Full Review

We have 2 power caddies. My wife's Freeway bought 2007 is great but my Freeway II bought just 15 months ago is appalling.Same faults as listed from previous customers. Speed 4 too slow and 5 too fast. Not able to read display screen due to misting up. Keeps cutting out and resets to '0' - have to disconnect battery each time to restore supposedly normal functions, have given up using it and resorted to carrying clubs until it is repaired to my satisfaction.

This was my first power trolley and have returned it as not fit for purpose.
Here the good points:
It looks pretty in white.
It folds away neatly.
The battery keeps its charge well.
The digital yard marker is quite useful if you are on the fairway.
..and the bad:
It will tip over backwards if going uphill.
The digital display is hard to read in bright sunlight.
The display mists over with only the slightest hint of rain.
Speed 4 is too slow and speed 5 is too fast; there is nothing in… Read Full Review

Powakaddy FW II and Deluxe III bag.
First power trolley, don't know what more you could want from a power trolley, easy assembly easy to use. A small amount of effort required to adjust the front wheel to make it run in a straight line (but at least you have the option) Being able to measure the length of your shots is a nice touch and can only help you improve your game. After being a bag carrier for years I am amazed at how much energy you have left for the last few holes. Had to decide… Read Full Review
