We eat here at least once a month. It's great for parking. It's clean with no background odours. The staff are usually pleasant but workmanlike and not over friendly as a rule. We ate here today and there was a staff shortage in evidence. It's usually much fuller yet we have always been served in an acceptable time frame. People arriving after us were being served ahead and after mentioning it to staff our meals arrived with (read more)

It has only come to our notice during the past couple of months that we had a good restaurant on the doorstep. Being so close to the M42 it is not readily noticeable but having been recommended by a friend we gave it a try and were truly delighted with the experience. the atmosphere of the restaurant is quiet, small alcoves for romantic evenings, larger areas for families. decor is neutral with acents to give definition to the surroundings. the choice of menu is quite extensive, may not... Although warned there would be an hour's wait, in fact it only took 15 minutes. The waitress made sure we were aware of several items which were no longer available on the menu BEFORE we started to make our choices. The waitress couldn't have been more helpful or friendly, and the food was hot and well presented. We were asked if everything was OK, about a third of the way into our meal, and also asked if there was anything else we required. When it came to requesting a hot chocolate and... (read more)

Stopping at the Premier Inn at Fife Leisure Park, Whimbrel Place, Dunfermline for 4 days. I had the misfortune of eating at the Brewers Fayre across the way from the Premier Inn. To be honest I would have a better quality meal at McDonalds 100 yards way. The Yorkshire pudding and toad in the hole should have gone straight in the bin, it was cold and stale. The breakfast the following morning was also cold, in fact the corn flakes were warmer! I had fish and chips tonight, again, the meal was... (read more)

We were staying at the premier inn at coventry which had a brwers fayre attached to it. Had a meal there in the evening no one there to seat us husband caught the eye of the waitress who told us we could choose where we wanted. Requested a high chair for my 18 month old sat her in it and the straps were covered in ketchup marks which had not been cleaned off. No one told us how to order our meals realized we had to go to the bar which had a long queue. The manager told my husband they were... (read more)

We visited this BF on our way back form a holiday in Cornwall, so needed a good place to stay and eat. the closeness to premier Inn sold it to us. when we arrived we were greeted by a friendly face, asked if we'd visited before and had everything explained to us about the food and the special offers available. Either there is a really good customer service training course Brewers Fayre run or the manager of this site has excelled in training their staff. The offer of the night was an "Eat... (read more)

In the past Brewers fayre was a great place to have dinner and the kids enjoyed the play area and the staff very friendly but on the three occasions we have been this year it was just plain terrible.

A Sunday carvery should be the roast dinner you can't cook properly at home because you only buy a small joint, Yorkshire puddings defeat you and roast potatoes are always soggy.
The Papermill only had a small tough piece of beef, the potatoes were soggy white lumps but they got the Yorkshires somewhere near.
For £9 I considered it a rip off.
There was a large sign outside offering employment to kitchen staff - I should have taken the hint.
Never again. (read more)
