“Good product awful after service.... ”

Good product awful after service....

Purchased last week a TV & Blu Ray bundle using currys.co.uk and arranged for them both to be delivered Sunday morning. The delivery driver turns up as arranged, unfortunately with just the tv as they forgot to put it on the order .
After speaking with customer services, which is a painful experience, I now have to wait a further 10 Days for the blu ray to be delivered, even though it is in stock .

Absolutely no customer service. They all but accused me of lying when my 2 week old TV developed a fault. They say they need to see the fault and as they say they can't they will not accept there is a fault. I am now stuck with a TV with a picture that is at times unwatchable. The promises of money back guarantees are full of unmentioned conditions. “I order the cooker, waited in on 3 ccassions and never...”

I order the cooker, waited in on 3 ccassions and never once has Currys phoned me or contacted me to tell me anything was wrong. Having cancelled the delivery for the 4th time without telling me, I have now cancelled my order and am hoping to get my refund. No contact was ever initiated from Curry's about any problems they were having on delivery.

Nearly killed my family (0ne pregnant,plus 3 children in house) as the fitting service they provided left the house in a dangerouse state.Namely fitters forgot to isolate a gas valve properly and did not do the following.

“We bought the TV knowing it was the cheap end of the...”

We bought the TV knowing it was the cheap end of the market. The in-store display of the model showed video (which we were happy with) but no audio and we didn't think to ask for a demo of the audio(and the sales guy never offered)as we expected that side of it to be OK.
On trying it at home the audio was appalling with high casing vibration noise above a quarter volume setting. We returned it inside 3 days.

Currently still awaiting delivery of tv. They have missed 2 delivery days, which I have had to take off of work. Rung customer services who are basically useless - same excusses given as other reviews. Now I have to wait for a manager to call me tomorrow. Avoid buying anything that needs delivering. Currys confirmed to me that they would be delivering this product the day before. “Currys on line, Customer Service and telesales are...”

Currys on line, Customer Service and telesales are appalling. They quoted me prices and when I phoned back to order they denied all knowledge even though I had an email from them. I was left on hold on numerous occassions and my landline phone bill for calls to them was £8 plus. They are real stress material, I wouldnt go back to them in a million years. How i wish i had read the reviews before i ordered a washing machine from currys online!!!!

The washer i ordered and paid for was substituted with a lesser product without asking if i wanted it.

it has taken over a week to get to the stage of exchanging the item, then to be told the original item i wanted is now out of stock.

Staff are unhelpful, no one ever rings you back when they say they will.

Lets hope they can get the refund right eh.

When the delivery confirmation arrived, the delivery date had been moved of eight days without notice. “I recently bought a tv dvd combi from the currys...”

I recently bought a tv dvd combi from the currys website where we were told 3 - 5 working days for delivery, which was fine.
6 days later i phone them, they tell me to call DHL to track this item.
Phone DHL they ask me to contact Currys and get them to phone them (which i think was terrible). 5 days later i phone currys to see where my tv is. No one seem's to know so they put it down to lost in transit.

It's now three week's later still no Tv.

Whatever you do, do not opt for Curry's after sales service. They should be out of business just for this. It's over a month that my tv was picked for repair and the chase-up team does not even know where to find it. They keep sending emails to the TECH Guys TV repair but no one response to them. Curry's are totally useless. Laptop reapir -"Ready in 2 days, sir" I phone on the third.... and you go to a call centre 'I'll get them to call you back with update",... result, nothing. I just purchased a fridge freezer from the Reading branch, (Delivered by Southampton dispatch) only to discover after delivery that the packaging was strewn across the front of my property.
