We picked out a cooker in the shop on the 30th November to be delivered and installed by Currys on the 21st December. On the 20th I got an email with a link to find a delivery slot time. Upon clicking that link I notice the image of the product is not the cooker we ordered. I phoned up the help line and was told to go to the store. “DO NOT USE CURRY'S THEY ARE AN ABSOLUTE JOKE!”

3 weeks after paying for our new dual fuel cooker it was delivered on Friday 13th December 2013, we had paid £95 for the installation service which stated that "all our installation team are qualified gas engineers". I bought a Bosch VarioPerfect washing machine for next day delivery. The delivery timeslot was confirmed and I took a day off. I checked their website, it said that the goods were on their way and should be with me around 3 p.m. All good so far. “Staff need customer service training”

Wanted a coffee maker so many in different stores. Went to currys in staines Middlesex who are not short of staff asking if they can help. I wanted to know what the difference was between the different dolce gusto models were. “Service Varies from good to godawful”

there are days and there are other days. On some days currys' is definitely the ideal place to shop with personal attention being given to you by the staff on other days they can be rude or brash depending upon your luck Strange place but does have a good discount on various products from time to time that makes it worth a visit… Read Full Review

“New Cooker Purchase”

On Friday afternoon December 14th my wife and I visited the Currys Store Basingstoke to purchase a new Cooker, arriving around 3.00pm. The assistant was very helpful and patient and we eventually settled on a Beko. “Believe all the other reviews !!”

I wish I had read the other comments on this site before I placed an order with Curry's. We had ordered a Zanussi washing machine and had paid for the service of removal of the existing machine and installation of the new one, in addition to the cost of the machine itself. “Disgusting”

Bought Samsung fridge freezer with extended cover 2 years ago, fridge since broke down, 11 engineer visits later (over a period of 2 months) fridge still not working Last insult was today - engineer booked to 'write off' fridge so I can get a replacement, saw him pull up outside, he sat in the van for 20minutes then drove off. “What's happened to customer service???”

We purchased a Zanussi washing machine in June 2013 from the stafford store and it started smoking in November , I went in to Currys in stafford to ask for a replacement I was told to call the service line so I did , the engineer came out and said we needed a replacement great, then we asked when the replacement could be done Currys said the machine could be repaired, I don't think so!!! “Faulty Daewoo American Style Fridge Freezer”

We purchased a Daewoo American style freezer from Curry's just over two years ago for £789.98. It stopped working so we called out a technician. The gases had leaked and apparently this is not something that can be repaired. He confirmed this was a manufacturing fault. Basically the product is faulty. “Shocking Customer Service!!!”

“Need a headache?- then shop at Currys”

Payed 1500 for a Samsung TV. Paid for delivery and set up. The guys screwed the base on and tuned it in and then left. No demo - not their area of expertise. Very complicated TV so a bit of a shock really. Couldn't get the Smart Hub to link with my wifi. 2 1/2 hours of phone calls later, Currys decided the TV was faulty. “The worst experience ever!”

We bought a toshiba laptop from them 2 years ago. We've been paying for insurance. Over a month ago, we had issues with the battery not holding charge. At first we thought it had to do with a damaged battery charger. So we called Currys and they said they would send us a new charger. They sent us wrong chargers three times, even though we specified the model and the number of pins etc. Three times - over a span of 3 weeks! However, this didn't seem to work. “DISGUSTING SERVICE - NOBODY CARES - CHARGE YOU TO CALL”
