“Terrible Customer Service”

Purchased fridge freezer requested removal of old appliance and door reversal. Delivery driver was very rude and said I had not paid for either the recycle or the door reversal refused to remove packaging even though the paperwork said that is what their drivers will do and left appliance outside front door. Spent ages trying to get hold of a customer service which was nigh on impossible. When I did complete waste of time in the end cancelled the door reversal. “If it goes wrong, it goes very wrong!”

We bought a Samsung Dishwasher from Currys, it was bought online and delivered promptly, we had a number of problems and had to contact Samsung to arrange a repair (that in itself was fun and games due to a lack of competence at Samsung, but that's a different issue), the technician who called condemned the appliance as defective and not repairable and that is when Currys failed to live up to any sort of respectable standard. “Windows 10,problem they want £55 to put it right”

Bought a brand new Lenovo all in one,in May this year,no problems,Currys advertise upgrade to windows 10 free etc,so we did,we had problem that the computer keeps switching back on,afterwards so went to Currys Preston to ask for help,they would only help if we bring in the computer and pay £55,there could be thousands of computers getting the same problem,it's a licence to print money,mine is still under warranty ?,we have spent over £2000 with Currys in 12 months this attitude stinks.Thats… Read Full Review

Computer warranties only cover faulty hardware, windows 10 is a software program therefore any issues downloading do not fall under manufacturers cover. While Currys can assist with computer issues, like any computer technician their time isn't free unless you're covered under a Care Plan.

“Not good when things go wrong”

I ordered a fridge/freezer costing £699 on line and had it delivered on Sunday the 16th August. I also paid £10 to have the old one removed. We were having a barbecue later as the weather was warm. The delivery men were very good as they have always been which is why I liked to shop with Currys. However when I plugged in the appliance and waited for it to get cold nothing happened. “CURRYS AFTER SALES SERVICE A DISGRACE”

I am just about to take a brand new washing machine to the dump. It was bought from Currys in June.It has never been fit for purpose and neither Currys or Knowhow are prepared to repair free of charge or replace the machine. Couldn't get the temperature to go above 30 degrees & spin speed to go above 600 so returned to Currys who referred me to Knowhow. Purchased a tumble dryer from currys in Taunton. After waiting a week for delivery as planned it worked once and all the displays failed. Called currys who sent out a hot point engineer who diagnosed a faulty circuit board and machine was not repairable. After discussing with currys we went into store for a refund but were told this was not possible until the machine had not been collected as we could sell it on after receiving the refund. Me and my husband unloaded all the contents in the old fridge and defrosted it as they requested so that it will be easier for them to recycle it. If you'd like to feel like a valued customer then don't chose Currys. So this is my story.... I order a fridge online which is delivered and installed by Currys who are all in a rush. When they leave I notice a dent in the door. Strange Returns policy for refunds or exchanges,that if the box has been opened they wont take goods back,even if unused.Not sure how they can tell if brown tape to re-stick was orignal or mine? maybe they train staff up to examine manufactures packaging practices? “Shocking customer service”

My washer broke (wouldn't drain)and I rang the know how team as I had bought the contract as it promised a two day repair. I was passed to Hotpoint/Indesit who don't offer a two day service. So I bought a service that Currys sub contracted out which cannot be provided?? I pointed this out and after a lot of calls an engineer came out within two days. “Happy to sell, Not so happy to return.”

I bought a new asus laptop with a lifetime Microsoft card which I was told would cost £110 (not including laptop) with a free McAfee protection for a year. This was not true, the Microsoft cost £89.99 and the McAfee was £19.99 which appalled me as they told me incorrect information about the product I was buying. Brought cooker hob Belling in April 2015. Had it fitted and it broke down 2 weeks later.contacted Curr,s who passed me on to manufacture. They came out fixed it and low and behold broke down again tonight 28th August i middle of cooking family meal. If I brought a faulty pair of shoes the shop would replace them but Curry,s just pass the buck to the manufacture they are not one bit interested. We will never buy from them again. “Knowhow No Way”

On Thursday 13th August 2015 I placed an order with Curry's Online for a SMEG FAB32RNN Fridge Freezer. I then received a confirmation email stating that delivery would be delivered on Monday 17th August 2016 which I understand was from 7am to 7pm.
