“Poor service, poor products”

I have used Currys both online and in-store and I am not using them again. Every, and I am mean every product that I have bought has had to be returned because it hasn't worked or has been damaged. I have given them the benefit of the doubt and returned. My parents have had the same problem. Customer service charges you 5p a minute and you are kept waiting for 10 minutes. “Poor Service”

Purchase £500+ Grundig fridge, the lug on the egg shelf broke after 6 months. Curry's were very poor and it took me a couple of calls to chase them. they then fobbed me off to Grundig who had no interest in helping. Pathetic service. Will be shopping via John Lewis from now on… Read Full Review

“Curry's Aberdeen Bridge of Dee store”

From beginning to end, this is quite possibly my worst retail experience EVER. Bought a new fridge freezer last weekend from Curry's at Bridge of Dee, Aberdeen. Service up on the mezzanine level was very slow even though numerous staff members were standing around at the tills downstairs - I waited c. 15 mins before I managed to get somebody's attention. “Zero customer service”

We reserve an item for collection at the Broadstairs branch (Thanet). We got there and found it so difficult to get anybody to help us. The shop was very quiet with loads of people working there, but nobody even looked up. In the end we decided to queue I n front of a guy who looked like customer service. I ordered a laptop from their click and collect service but was not given a date for collection until after the purchase. The date was a week after the order! “ALIEN BEHAVIOR FROM EMPLOYEES, LIES ”

Employees at Currys behaves in a way that either they are alien or you (as a customer) is alien. Are their jobs very secured? They really do not care about you giving them business. I placed an order on 1/11/15 and Curry's contacted me a couple of days later advising me there would be a delay in the delivery. I needed the goods by the delivery date so cancelled the order as was told a refund would be processed. It is now the 19th November and I still have not received a refund. “Bad service”

Although the dishwasher came very quickly, I bought on line, it would not work after 32 days and I was having trouble with it from 2 weeks old. Currys will not replace and I have to wait for an engineer to come to replace, which is an all day call out. Problem when you work. I ordered a couple of things for £200 but was disappointed that one of the items were not as they seem...one item is wrongly described by the manufacturer and not suitable for 13A UK plug system. Was told it would take five days for delivery from supplier, but should be installed by Sunday (Day 7) Rang on Friday for update and was told machine due in today but ring up tomorrow for update. “Terrible Customer Service”

Purchased fridge freezer requested removal of old appliance and door reversal. Delivery driver was very rude and said I had not paid for either the recycle or the door reversal refused to remove packaging even though the paperwork said that is what their drivers will do and left appliance outside front door. Spent ages trying to get hold of a customer service which was nigh on impossible. When I did complete waste of time in the end cancelled the door reversal. “If it goes wrong, it goes very wrong!”

We bought a Samsung Dishwasher from Currys, it was bought online and delivered promptly, we had a number of problems and had to contact Samsung to arrange a repair (that in itself was fun and games due to a lack of competence at Samsung, but that's a different issue), the technician who called condemned the appliance as defective and not repairable and that is when Currys failed to live up to any sort of respectable standard. Computer warranties only cover faulty hardware, windows 10 is a software program therefore any issues downloading do not fall under manufacturers cover. While Currys can assist with computer issues, like any computer technician their time isn't free unless you're covered under a Care Plan.
