“Non-existent service”

Terrible. The only thing the staff seemed interested in selling was insurance for products that already come with warranties. In addition, the stove we bought required a dedicated plug socket. We were not told this in store so when KNOWHOW came to install the stove (which Curry's charged us £100 for) they were unable to do so as we need to get the electrician in again. I went to my local Southampton store which is 5 mins from my house to buy a freezer. After hanging around in the store for 20 mins finally got service. The store was not busy about 3 people browsing. After 10 mins of the sales woman not being able to place the order the manager told us to go to Hedge End which is 30 mins up the motorway. “Bought a Cooker. will never shop at curry's ever again”

My Mother bought a brand new expensive cooker from Curry's. Is wasn't even out of the wrapper, she decided it was too complicated for her to use, decided to go back to the store to find a replacement (Crayford branch ) was promptly told she couldn't return it. I placed an order for a Rangemaster cooker on 3rd August. We were contacted with a delivery date of 9th August. We were then informed this wasn't possible and re-arranged for today (13th August). We were also told we'd receive a call with a delivery slot. Still no call and I suspect we won't be getting the cooker today. “worst place to buy from !!”

I bought 3 new kitchen appliances from currys one being my washing machine, which didn't work from day one, called currys to be told I wasn't putting correct weight of washing in it wont do a load if its not heavy enough, 3weeks later they agreed to take it back after an engineer said it was faulty the water pump also the drum, that was 2 weeks ago and I'm STILL waiting on my refund to buy another machine. “Customer Service & Satisfaction Unheard of in Currys”

We purchased a Nikon camera in January, camera failed just after the 28 day!!!! exchange policy, contacted currys customer helpline absolute waste of time, was told could take back to store to exchange as told by them, only to get there and be told it had to be sent away for repair which takes up to 7-10 days after 4 attempts to call branch and no return calls and emails, I went back into the store after 21 days of waiting long story short basically lost my camera and it is no longer in stock… Read Full Review

My new Cannon Carrick cooker is not the same as the one I looked at in the store. The enamel looks as if it has been sandblasted! and is rough to the touch. The one in the store was shiny. The grid in the grill pan had the thin layer of chrome peeling off when it arrived and I am still waiting for the replacement in the post. The quality is poor and I would not recommend it. “Awful Service ”

Currys service is appalling. The staff are rude and unhelpful. I visited the branch in Crayford and spoke to woman who was about 50 years old, with blonde hair and glasses. She was very belittling towards me and had a terrible attitude. I tried to talk to a manager about it and he didn't take any notice and was very dismissive. Omg I have had awful service at Crayford couldn't agree more the manager lacks basic people skills and arrogantly told me I won't find cheaper. I promptly said, you'll find people don't normally mind paying a little bit extra to get good customer service, a no quibble return policy and polite service.

Had a text to say it was on the way, perfect so far, but then had a call to say the item was damaged and said they would be in touch with a new delivery date. The assistant & his other colleagues were very helpful & explained the extra features & set up a contract sim for me. “Dont buy a samsung was from here awful aftersale...”

We have had 2 washers from here 1 of which was a replacement which took some hassle and upset getting a replacement for it leaking and causing significant damage to the floor which is costing £550 to replace. They after a great deal of arguing and upset replaced it with a Samsung Eco bubble 1400 8 KG which took all of 4 weeks to need a new seal and door because of leaks 3 months later codes have come up and it wont finish a cycle or wash properly and it also still leaks from the door seal… Read Full Review

I would not recommend Curry's to anyone. I have been left without a fridge freezer since 11.06.14 and and been sent a damaged unit not once but twice. Countless attempts at contacting them via phone has proven near impossible as they have ridiculous waiting times and seem to 'accidentally' cut the customer off mid conversation.
