Visited the Blackburn store today to exchange a standard I Pad for a cellular model. The service I received was excellent & went above & beyond what I had expected. The assistant & his other colleagues were very helpful & explained the extra features & set up a contract sim for me. “Rubbish afterservice”

I bought a Bosch food mixer oct 2013 on offer in currys newry but in June 2014 it stopped working. I had also purchased a instant replacement care plan.but the currys assistant had NOT told me the food mixer had a 2 year MANUFACTURES warranty anyway. 8 months later., in JUNE 2014 the mixer stopped working, I took to newry store. “Dont buy a samsung was from here awful aftersale...”

We have had 2 washers from here 1 of which was a replacement which took some hassle and upset getting a replacement for it leaking and causing significant damage to the floor which is costing £550 to replace. They after a great deal of arguing and upset replaced it with a Samsung Eco bubble 1400 8 KG which took all of 4 weeks to need a new seal and door because of leaks 3 months later codes have come up and it wont finish a cycle or wash properly and it also still leaks from the door seal… Read Full Review

Purchased a washing machine from Currys online a few weeks ago and was given a specific delivery date. After making domestic arrangements we received a last minute text changing the day. When it eventually arrived the fitter (we had paid for installation) who seemed to be in a rush yanked the water valve off the wall. I bought a russell hobbs iron from currys on tuesday 01/07/14 and the next day when I used it the water started dripping from the spray compartment - my ironing board was wet by the time I finished ironing. I would not recommend Curry's to anyone. I have been left without a fridge freezer since 11.06.14 and and been sent a damaged unit not once but twice. Countless attempts at contacting them via phone has proven near impossible as they have ridiculous waiting times and seem to 'accidentally' cut the customer off mid conversation. “Lied to about IMAC purchase”

Went into Currys in Edinburgh 1-17 Glasgow Rd, Edinburgh, Corstorphine EH12 8HW ‎ Was told by the "Apple" expert that there was no new IMAC's coming out and that the IMAC that they sell is the same price as Apple. This was of course not factual as Apple sell the IMAC for £1049 I paid £1149 also they done a deal on Apple care which I took for a further £100 they said £40 was knocked off it which is true it is usually £139.99 what they didnt tell me was that they sell the IMAC £100 more… Read Full Review

Remember, Apple only reduced the prices of the existing iMac lines and released the new low end model on the 18th of June. if you bought your machine before this date they will have had no knowledge of this new model, or the price reduction Apple announced as apple don't announce new models or price changes to retailers before they announce them to the public. Also, don't Currys have a price match policy? Go back into the store and see if they will honour a price match since you only recently purchased the machine?

“Curry's / Hotpoint cash back Farce”

A month after purchasing a Larder Fridge through Curry's I'm still awaiting a £25 cashback from Indesit/Hotpoint, this after having to register the claim with them on a separate website and having to enter passwords, log in details etc. The site steadfastly reports 'Claim being progressed'. Curry's just want to walk away from the deal saying it's the Manufacturers promotion not theirs, even though it was advertised on their website. I take most reviews with a pinch of salt. That was a mistake with Currys. I ordered a hob on the Wednesday and was told it would be delivered the following Tuesday. No sign of it. I've then had 4 different delivery dates over a period of 5 weeks and still no sign of the hob. I've spoken to what seems like every employee that Currys have working in Customer Services and each is as useless as the next one.
