AVG 7.5 was a superb low impact on system anti virus tool I am sorry it is no longer supported...
AVG 8 is to Grisoft what Vista and DRM management is to Microsoft in my opinion. They both forgot there purpose in their arrogance I feel therefore I do not recommend Grisoft AVG.

With this program be very carefull how you deal with discovered viruses always put them in the virus vault where they can always be restored to their nomal state do not delete them.
I repair pcs and software problems for a living and that means I know my stuff so my advice to you about this program ...

I too have asked for my money back and they are telling me to phone them. I can never get through and they recommend I look at their FAQ's I on the web site. I have tried all the so called fixes and the only way to get the PC back to normal was to remover their product.

Nice interface, online provision workability very poor I feel, connectivity not responded - to make popular like msn (hotmail) or IM (yahoo)-- it is not visible from the user when they are online otherwise they enter into site.I do not recommend Grisoft AVG, does it not pick up worms and trojans? ...

How do I get rid of paperclip icon on all incoming e-mails? Found solution to this on old 7.5 but this does not work on the new AVG8 programme.

I have just upgraded to AVG 8.0. It does not work with certain pages in Firefox, slows it down to unacceptable level.Check gmail and hotmail. Fix it, so far the software is not usable. So think twice about upgrade in my opinion as I do not recommend this anti virus software.

Grisoft AVG have no phone support as far as I am aware? I ordered a version online thinking it was just anti-spyware. I discovered my mistake before I downloaded it and tried to get a refund. Several months later I'm still trying to get my money back.
