“Beware of deals and good luck trying to leave them!”

When I signed up initially the girl I worked with in the Grimsby store was very helpful and nice. They had an offer on if I got the iPhone with unlimited talk/text and data I could also get a dongle for half price. I thought it would be ok and asked if I was unhappy with it could I bring it back. They said yes. I was not happy with the speed I was getting and decided to stay with my phone and return the dongle. At this point they said I had opened it and therefore couldn't return it. “i need more than great customer service....”

My last provider offered best customer service but it couldnt give me what I wanted 1. Range of decent phones at upgrade 2.unlimited internet 3.reasonable price 4.in bristol I get excellent signal. Would be a great idea, they stopped us posting our Facebook link that has helped hundreds of Three customers. They will never admit that customer service is bad.

“No Signal No Deal”

On 30th July this year I agreed to purchase a telephone and service from Three, the salesman confirmed my post code enjoyed 'perfect reception'. The following day I switched on the phone but the signal strength wavered from one bar to none. I tried in various places around the village, nowhere would it rise above 2 bars, mainly it was zero reception. “do not bother buying through a three store”

Do not bother going to a three store to purchase your phone and contract. I returned a faulty phone after 3 months ans they told me I had to contact the manufacturers directly to arrange a repair. Sale of goods and services act 1982 states that it is the retailers responsibility to arrange for a repair or replacement which stores actually have no ability to do for some products. Absolutely agree with this review, I'm 2 months into a 24 mth iPhone contract, the iPhone has died and Three don't want to know. For your info, online is no better than the store - avoid Three at all costs.

“The worse network I have been with”

I am afraid that 3 may have the best offer with the £15 Sim Only The One Plan which allows tethering. However, I don't get any signal indoors and outdoors is just 1 or 2 bars if I am lucky (and this is not in a bloody rural area but in a big town like Ipswich - I am talking in the centre of the town). I have been before with O2, Vodafone, giffgaff and all I can say is that 3 is absolutely RUBBISH and I will not be renewing my contract with them. I was charged from April last year until my account was closed. They are still chasing me for £56. I have offered to pay immediately the amount owed, less £30 for the overcharge. The debt collection agency have handed the account back to Three. Happy to pay what I owe them, but not the overcharge.

Contact the ombudsman.

“Useless wifi and normal connections”

I travel between Colchester and London everyday, have a 3 Samsung galaxy and. 3G iPad . No connection on either during this period. The only reason I got the iPad in the first place was to check my email and watch the news. What a ripp off. Neither work at home either . Can't wait to change provider… Read Full Review

Ive been with 3 for years and today had phone call from customer services. She was very helpfull and polite and felt she treasured my custom. My coverage is great allways have 5 bars here in stockport and never had any problems. I dont use my mobile allot an think the 321 plan is great and no other network can beat these rates to date,Great network going to put mum on 3 soon as she only uses phone when on holiday… Read Full Review

I have been with 3 for 2 months now and honestly they have looked after me, by swapping my traiff to the one plan when I was 18 days in to my contact and I was hardly get ting any signal at my home address in Newark , they gave me a brand new sure signal box, which now gives me full signal at home. “Useless in manchester”

When I'm in Manchester, I get constant dropouts for both internet and voice. Worked well in Bristol and London which is why I was a customer for a while. It's not limited to a particular tower, but appears to be city wide. This is not an issue with the phone as I've tested this with: Nexus One, Wildfire-S, Nexus i9250, Nokia 3230. Speed test of the internet on an android phone shows good 1+mbps speeds for a second before I need to restart the radio to get connection again. I need to reboot… Read Full Review

I came across this review site and genuinely wondered if all these people moaning were actually on the same Three network? I have been with Three for many years, our family has four phone contracts and a mobile broadband one. We find the coverage and performance outstanding!! Excellent value, and superb speeds for internet, over 20 Mbps is not uncommon (best had 28.14 Mbps) Loads of my friends have joined Three on my recommendation and not looked back. And I am not a whinger, I have genuine issues that this company refuse to address. I was one of their first customers and was paying for 5 family accounts over 10 years.
