“poor after sales and very slow internet”

I have just took a faulty nokia phone back to our local store for repair only to be told that they don't deal with repairs anymore and I would have to deal with nokia direct.I pointed out that my contract was with them not nokia ,but all they said was it was nokia policy so they wouldn't do anything other than issue me with an 0845 telephone number,and we all know how much 0845 numbers cost.In the end I bullied them into contacting nokia on my behalf but I have still had to pack the item and… Read Full Review

“no Internet between 08:00 & 12:00 on Three mobile”

Ok Ive got 3 devices on the three network, 2 mobiles ( galaxy S4 iphone 5) and a three mifi, The first contract for the iphone was taken out as i live in a small town in the scottish borders, and my current mobile phone provider Vodafone is unable to provide a 3G service which is fair enough as this is reflected in the price plans i have. I'll do that straight away, coincidental I had a call from the complaints escalation team at three who again said there was no reported problems on the 2 possible masts at my home location but were going to instruct an engineer to carry out tests, whether they will or not who knows, she said she will contact me in 7 days so ill update the post then.

They are well known to be sparing with the truth and will never admit when they are at fault. Customers count very low on their list of priorities.
I used to try and advise people what to do on their Social Media pages, but was eventually removed, as are most people that complain these days. Worth posting your story on their Facebook page tho. The team there may actually try and help, they are UK based. Good luck.

I have been with 3 from the beginning. In the past I used to get really good deals, however, when I tried to renew my contract they wanted me to move from £13 to £32. They said my old contract was costing them £21 a month like it was my fault. Reception in recent months has been the worse in years. Customer services in India is appauling. In last 2 years l have lived in 3 different addresses in RCT area and have never had a chance to fully benefit 3 network due to weak signal and yet horrible service.its so true when they say you get what you pay for. Plus the stress you have given, the hair you pulled off.since l have contract with 3, this is my 2nd phone l sacrifice. “What a Brilliant Company!”

I get 3g coverage pretty much everywhere I go, it is also really fast. I once got 28Mbps over DC-HSDPA, which is sometimes faster than 4g! and as an added bonus, three are giving their customers 4g at no extra cost! what's not to love? Their customer service team are excellent and are very friendly. Also, for the price it can't be beaten. Their plans are very reasonably priced. “Helpful customer service”

Sim cards arrived within 2 days but unfortunately the signal was very weak in our area. Contacted customer service, the staff spoke very clearly and were very polite and helpful. Rang me back so I wasn't paying for the call and did all the checks necessary. As the problem was with their network in our area they cancelled the contract within 4 hours… Read Full Review

“Fantastic Network 3g almost everywhere!!!”

Three is a fantastic network and are probably the best network that i have experianced. I have been on vodafone, o2 and tesco and so far three has been the best. They have 3g signal almost everywhere I go and it is very fast. Also it is completely unlimited and i can tether. Three also said that as I have signed a contract with them, they will upgrade me for free to have 4g. “disgusting the threats they make”

If you use Facebook, search for : Three 3G H3G - Complaints about 3G mobile. You will get plenty of good advice there.

“This is a very dissapointing service, poor customer...”

Despite having a monthly contract I have incurred additional costs for 'delivery reports' etc which I have not requested. Keep a careful watch on what you are being charged for! Communication is very poor and service disgraceful, the shops don't seem to have the capacity to sort out issues and you have to deal directly with customer services in India. “They go out of their way to provide a terrible service.”

Broadband disconnects constantly even when there's maximum coverage displayed. Tech support is based in India. Nothing wrong with that, but it would be helpful if I could understand a word they're saying. Eventually they promised to diagnose the issue. I got a text message two days later saying "you are receiving an acceptable service as per the specifications". When my blood stopped boiling, I decided to google 3's specifications. “Awful awful awful”

Have had intermittent signal for nearly 4 months. 4 months of trying to get it sorted, of being told one thing after another, culminating in a facotry reset of my handset, which didn't work. Have just spent another hour on the phone to their customer services department, after having send a furious email. “The worst company I have ever dealt with”

I don't know where to start my whole experience with three has been so stressful and awful i got an i phone 5 with them which was supposed to be £35 a month and for the 6 months i had the phone it was never less then £50 despite not getting any signal at home. After endless hours on the phone being passed from useless employee to useless employee and hours on hold they agreed to cancel my contract if i sent the phone back i did and was relieved to never have to deal with them. “where the hell do i start”

“Only use the 3 network if other mobile providers close...”

Avoid 3 at all costs. I was lied to by the sales assistant about their planned 4G rollout in order to get me to sign the contract - their coverage is awful; I cannot get a signal in my house or even my central London office. Why not use a company that can provide what it promises? Charging you to use something you are already paying for is hardly 'service', it is utilising your own resources!

You pay twice for using data and calls whilst at home, services you already have.

You will be paying twice regardless if you already have both...I think your argument is merely a moral one. It does not matter if it's using your broadband to make calls while at home as long as it doesn't impact anything...which it doesn't...It does the job...allows you to make full use of your phone in an otherwise difficult location....See it as a working solution to fix a problem, as opposed to some evil-doing.

“WORST NETWORK”

This has got to be the worst network I have ever been with. I live in Stoke-on-Trent area and my job requires me to travel a lot and I regular have no coverage. I even used the satnav to go to London a few weeks ago and it lost signal about 10 miles from London so I had to use my company phone network EE to get me to my destination in London. “PLEASE BE WARNED ......Total Regret Of Ever Joining 3...”

After looking at signal of 3 Mobile Networks in my area and online chat with 3 representative ( who advised me that we had very good signal and would be happy to place an order for me)I decided to purchase a 3 SIM over the internet. You have had a lucky escape!! Your fears are justified however, Three have a habit of saying one thing and doing the opposite, then pretending the conversation never happened the way you recall it. With this company it is ALWAYS worth recording the conversations, and informing them that you are doing,have done so.
Good luck with leaving them, I hope this truly is the end of the matter.

Oops, nearly forgot, don't forget to cancel the direct debit!! I found out 6 months later that they were still taking mine.
