“Terrible from start up until the moment you've left”

Signed up to a monthly contract online at £12.90. Email confirmation received. Received bill and tariff had changed to £15.90. After approximately 1 hour on the phone to the worst call centre in India, I still had to send them my email evidence. No ability to cross check the online order against their own accounting package. “Very Friendly and Helpful!”

Got a great deal for the iPhone 5S and a new cover thrown in for free. The member of staff helping me was super friendly and did everything he could to get me the best deal. When I wanted to switch my old number over to my new sim card, the customer service team were great and got it done very quickly. “Awful...stay well away”

Wish I could rate it minus 10. Network coverage is very poor (London/Kent border). Customer service is even worse...I spoke to someone today and was told a supervisor would call me back..6hrs later still nothing!! I will NEVER be using 3 mobile network again. I would rather pay a bit more and use a reputable company as I have lost all faith in this company and the service they claim to provide (have barely had signal whilst they are attempting to upgrade to 4G network. “3's own website doesn't work properly, and they deny it.”

I am on broadband PAYG, and every time I try to check my usage, the page won't load. I can just about get onto to other websites without too much bother, but their own website is left sorely wanting. I have phone them on several occasions, and the only response I keep getting is 'no one else has complained about it Madam'. What sort of idiotic response is that?! Contact Ofcom, submit the information and tell them how they talked you into it and you may find that you can cancel without paying 12 months fee.

Quite common argument is that your not getting service that you paid for, thus having them breaking the agreement which is good explanation reason to leave.

For an example, if you have chosen an "All-you-can-eat" data plan no surprises and have never used much than £5 on calls, you get bill in for £88 for going over your data allowance, this is a good example of terminating your contract with no fees to pay (NOT EVEN THE BILL FOR GOING OVER THE LIMIT!)

Remember, their call centers are India, I have say 80% problems are coming from customers services due to poor communications and they should hold all audio records to prove for evidence.

“Appalling customer service”

I have been with Three for many years on monthly contracts. I was very pleased to see they were now offering free calls to 0800 numbers to customers on 24 month plans. That's me I thought. But sadly not. It is apparently only for new customers or if you change to a new call plan for an additional charge. I was quoted an additional £3 a month on top of my current £35 contract. “rubbish network”

I've have been with 3 for over 2 yrs and still they haven't improved with their network. I work in Central London around bank station area.When i'm at work, I can't get reception at all which is very annoying. “Dissappointed”

Very dissatisfied with customer service and connection speed.It takes at least 6 minutes to get connected to a person and I get charged for the privelege!!Very expensive I pay £16 per month,now going to BT at £5 per month for 6 months then £10 per month,18 month contract.Been tucked up or what.I am not street wise re.computer stuff but I learn pretty quick… Read Full Review

“Great Customer Service”

I have had two rolling contracts (one for each of my sons) with 3 for about two years and have not had any problems. Last week I was going to go to another provider which was a little cheaper as they needed extra data and minutes and initially I called their customer service for a PAC code. If you are thinking of moving to 3 network then think again. It has the worst network of all. You will be lucky to get 1 or 2 bars of reception at most times and their internet is even worse. Never mind 4G their 3g network is so pathetic. you will be constantly refreshing your page because it keeps stopping, that's providing you get connected in the first place. I have just purchased a wireless modem from "3" and wished I had'nt. when the pre-loaded data was used up following top ups were impossible. So it has been returned to the vendor,owing to their terms of business I will lose the purchase price £49.99. Customer service-yes at a premium rate-----e-mails yes,but they are always "no-reply"(or up yours!) Many hours and a loss of data however, £50.00 quid is a small price to pay to get out.Hutchinson communications rings a bell from way back. Hmmm.

“Horrible Company”

I have never experienced worse customer service than with Three UK. I paid for internet, and they couldn't help me get it working. They kept telling me they'd send me the details I needed via text, and they'd never come through. I spoke with over 5 different people and all of them were unhelpful and borderline rude. Now I asked for a refund, and they said they can't do a refund, but they'd be happy to issue a credit to my account. Waiting an age yet again for the Lumia Black updates on Nokia Lumia 920. All other operators have rolled this out except 3UK. Customer Service is beyond dire. Totally useless in every possible way. As soon as my contract is up I'm going back to o2 who I would thoroughly recommend. For the money you pay ay least part of this goes toward the service you receive surely. “rubbish”

Tried to top up on line but couldn't log onto to my account so i called them. They said they will text me with some code but i had no signal. Tried to use the inq phone purchased from three with another provider but couldn't unlock it. Filled in the form on line - says it will take 7 days!
