“Great Customer Service”

I have had two rolling contracts (one for each of my sons) with 3 for about two years and have not had any problems. Last week I was going to go to another provider which was a little cheaper as they needed extra data and minutes and initially I called their customer service for a PAC code. I received some good information which made me re think my plans. I then went in store (Metro Centre, Gateshead) and they arranged to upgrade the contracts for me to a new plan they had. If you are thinking of moving to 3 network then think again. It has the worst network of all. You will be lucky to get 1 or 2 bars of reception at most times and their internet is even worse. Never mind 4G their 3g network is so pathetic. you will be constantly refreshing your page because it keeps stopping, that's providing you get connected in the first place. That's why they are cheap because you compromise on signal and reception. And don't even get me started on their customer service… Read Full Review

I have just purchased a wireless modem from "3" and wished I had'nt. when the pre-loaded data was used up following top ups were impossible. So it has been returned to the vendor,owing to their terms of business I will lose the purchase price £49.99. Customer service-yes at a premium rate-----e-mails yes,but they are always "no-reply"(or up yours!) Many hours and a loss of data however, £50.00 quid is a small price to pay to get out.Hutchinson communications rings a bell from way back. Hmmm.

“Horrible Company”

I have never experienced worse customer service than with Three UK. I paid for internet, and they couldn't help me get it working. They kept telling me they'd send me the details I needed via text, and they'd never come through. I spoke with over 5 different people and all of them were unhelpful and borderline rude. Now I asked for a refund, and they said they can't do a refund, but they'd be happy to issue a credit to my account. Waiting an age yet again for the Lumia Black updates on Nokia Lumia 920. All other operators have rolled this out except 3UK. Customer Service is beyond dire. Totally useless in every possible way. As soon as my contract is up I'm going back to o2 who I would thoroughly recommend. For the money you pay ay least part of this goes toward the service you receive surely. Tried to top up on line but couldn't log onto to my account so i called them. They said they will text me with some code but i had no signal. Tried to use the inq phone purchased from three with another provider but couldn't unlock it. Filled in the form on line - says it will take 7 days! “TOTAL INCOMPETANCE by 3 - Five contarcts lost ”

I contacted Three and tried to purchase one mobile phone upgrade as my existing contract with them had long expired and I also wanted to purchase four new sim only contracts for colleagues while retaining our existing numbers. This alone took at least an hour on my phone, the first long bout of time wasting. I had an initial problem so I went to the 3 Mobile web page. I clicked onto customer support, I could not communicate with anybody online and there was nothing to solve the problem. I decided to phone. To do this you are told that you cannot use the 3 Mobile, instead they tell you that you must use another phone with another network which entails using an 084 number. “Signal is terrible in most areas where other network...”

Signal is terrible in most areas where other network signals are fine. Often get very delayed messages and calls, ie 5 days late so this is not a great thing either. Overall, I would not receommend this company as they do not seem interested in helping solve these problems… Read Full Review

“Customer Service very quick to respond”

Very quick in answering calls, you are not on hold forever, they manage to sort out your problems fairly efficiently to be honest, and open 7 days a week. Good english speakers in India. Generally very good service. The 3 signal is the only thing about the network which isn't great, and not being able to turn off 3G… Read Full Review

“Awful company ”

This has to be the worst phone company for customer service. If you need to call the customer service centre calls go to India, reps have no manners whatsoever, are completely rude & do their utmost to be unhelpful if you have a query. Should you need any small change to your account, god help you as they operate a system of "computer says no". Have no brains to think.
