I have seen many shows in the West End and this is the worst one i have ever seen, dull and boring and not in the least bit scary, very disappointing. I thought it was self indulgent and lacking any freshness.

When I went to see it in 2008 i was admittedly one of the sceptics about being scared by it but it is by far the most scary thing i have ever seen. The acting was brilliant if you want to see a play to show you just how scary theatre can be go see this in The fortune theatre.

I absolutely love West End shows but this has to be the worst one I have ever seen. I actually came away feeling really let down and gloomy. The simplicity of the staging etc is 'supposed' to add to the 'brilliance' of it all but for me, it just added to the overall dullness of the show.

I and the Stage School i work at, of about 40 pupils came to see it. On the journey to the show, i had noticed some students saying they don't get scared about anything. It was really scary left me on the edge of my seat. I loved the twist at the end. The sound effects were quite deafening and also i saw the string for the rocking chair, that wasn't as scary as it could have been...It was amazing! I would recommend it to anyone and would love to go see it again.

This is a fantastic piece of drama that ticks all the boxes in making you feel incredibly scared. The slow build up of tension through the first act is exactly perfect and leaves you wanting more. With only two actors on stage throughout the entire performance, they fulfilled the immense task of kee ...

I went to see an evening performance. Whilst I can't stand things that make me jump I actually really enjoyed this show. It's a classic ghost story and I ended up sitting there wanting the plea with the main character not to go looking for trouble. By the end I was on the edge of my seat and jumpi ...

We were very disappointed with "The Woman in Black." The reviews led us to believe that the production would have us on the edge of our seats. Nothing could be further from the truth with the play we saw yesterday.
The actor who played "the actor " is crucial to building up the suspense and atmosph ...
