I have claimed twice for my 2 cats - one for a fungal granuloma and the other for a foot injury. I have found them to be very helpful on the phone and my claims were paid quickly on both occasions.
We pay £12.50 p/m for 2 cats for £4000 max cover per illness which I think is reasonable. ...

Tesco Pet Insurance are the worst. Insured my maine coon kitten with them. Five months later he developed colitis. Because the vet had recorded he had diarrhea due to being wormed and vaccinated on the first day. Tesco claimed it was an on-going condition and they wouldn't pay out on the claim.

My cat was recently left for dead by some uncaring driver, which was nice!!! We found the cat three days later in next door's garden. She ended up having to have a weeks specialist care at an animal hospital. Her eye was removed and her jaw wired up. She is now on the road to recovery thank god. ...

Rubbish, ive rang 8 companies today for a quote and Tesco Pet Insurance was the only one to say we cant quote until you have the dog at your address, but i want insurance from when i collect him this friday!

Tesco is a reasonable price, However I certainly WOULDN'T recommend Tesco especially if like me you only opt for the 12 month per condition policy. I have learnt the hard way...
