Paid £16.95 to unlock a Galaxy Note 4 I bought off eBay. Got an email the day after saying my order had been approved, so I checked the website for the status of my order and the unlock code was about halfway down the page. Put my Three SIM into the phone, turned it on and entered the unlock code. "Unlock PIN successful" and I was in! Worked flawlessly, impressed with how quickly I got the code (next day) and the price isn't that bad really.

On 20th October (2013) I filled out mrunlock's online request form and paid them £19.95 to supply me with an unlock code for my old T-Mobile contract phone - a Nokia Lumia 800. They happily took my money and processed it through Skrill. On 21st Oct, they asked me for the make and model of my phone - which they said that they could not determine from my IMEI number. Strange - I had already given them that detail in their form - can't they read? I replied the same day and gave them the detail requested. I then waited till 29th Oct, hearing nothing from them. I created an account, and also tried to phone them on their Support line. That proved pointless, as they just have a message set up on their answerphone, telling you that the phone support is currently unavailable (which works out to almost 3 weeks that it has been "unavailable" in this case). If necessary, they say, you should contact them by email on [email protected], and they would reply within one working day. Yeah, right! Not very likely I would say, from experience. The next day (28th), I tried again. I was polite, and asked if they would please update me on the status of my order. I received no response - no more surprises there. I tried calling them again by phone, in the vain hope that they might actually respond - stupid of me, hey? I received the same recorded message. I then wrote to them again on the 29th Oct, politely saying that as they obviously had neither the ability or intention to honour their agreement to supply me with an unlock code, then they should return my money. It is now 6th November, and I am still awaiting a response, let alone my money. Oh well - time to talk to my Credit Card supplier and Skrill. I believe they should be able to assist in a case like this. There are few things that I detest more than those who take what is not theirs. In this case, my other pet hate is people whose word means nothing ...

I submited all required data for unlocking a NOKIA C2-01 paying £ 4.95 by credit card. After certain amount of time I get the answer that the code was not found ! "Total unlock solutions available today . . . 0 YOUR ORDER WILL BE REFUNDED IN FULL. Your order details have already been passed to the accounts department, your refund will be completed within the next 7 days." Unfotunately NO refound at all has taken place. I think this is NOT a fare trade and for this reason I will certaily not recommend mrunlock to anyone ! There are so many unlocking services! Find something better !

This company is a joke... I paid £25 they took the £25 and I still did not receive my unlock code... After a couple of days they requested a copy of my drivers license as they thought it may be fraudulent. I replied saying I don't see why they would need it as they have already taken my money but if they could explain to me why exactly they wanted it wouldn't be a problem... 4 emails later and no reply! This company is a joke! Avoid at all cost! I would've given no stars but there's no option for that!

Do not place any orders with this company Mr Unlock They offer a service that they unable to supply, this is false advertising and you will see many customers who have placed orders who have reported these people under the trade description act. This company needs to be shut down ASAP. There are a number standard communications they will send to you one of them is the following : They state that they will produce your number in 2 days and when you have not received it they will tell you that there's been an issue with the order and they need to re-submit it manually Ring the help line on the site and you will not be able to speak to anyone because they are stealing money from unsuspecting people like you. If you need your cell phone unlocked go to your carrier Orange,O2 etc and ask them to produce the unlock code you will not pay more money and they will guarantee delivery. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY

I Purchased a unlock code on 17th of December for my Sony Ericsson E15i Locked to the three UK network the following day I received an email that they would have to do a refund because the phone manufacturer has not yet added it to their database. So I have to sent them 3 emails now with no response and they have still not refunded my payment. Still I am preparing to get legal action against them to get money back.

As Website was sponsored by Google I thought they would be legit and was tempted by the sale that was currently on. After weeks of waiting and numerous complaints I have received no unlock code and no refund. Please do not use.

The webpage was very easy to use with very good and clear instructions. After waiting for a few days I emailed Mr Unlock and got a very speedy response. Unfortunately the code for my phone was not available, so I was refunded and advised to try and re-order again. This I did, but again the code was unavailable. However, despite this, the customer service that I received was excellent, very helpful and my money was refunded on both occasions with no problems at all. So, although I didn't actually get the code to unlock my phone, I would still recommend this to others.

Could not unlock my Nokia from 3 - but took the payment quite happily - still waiting for refund (8 June, now 13 July!) - customer 'service' reply to enquiry was a standard 'your account has been refunded - refunds can take 4 - 7 business days) - not even addressed to me, but started with "Hi". Poor, poor, poor - would not recommend to anyone. (Went to 3 in the end for the unlock, and although it cost more, it was done there and then over the phone - he even stayed on the line to check it worked ok). Wish I'd read some of these reviews before parting with my money - I would not have bothered.

Hi jason,I left a comment on your other post re the 4 or 5 P's of matierkng so I won't repeat those thoughts here. This is an interesting thread and has raised some points that I have some difficulty accepting.People do buy on impulse but not as much as is being stated here. Your particular example Jason of someone under stress with financial debt may well do something on impulse BUT then again they may not do anything at all even if the solution offered is the ideal one..why because they are also internally defeated and have probably made so many poor decisions in the past that led them into this situation of debt they react in the complete opposite way to impulse buyers. They can be totally incapable of making any decisions. I have actually seen examples of this behaviour and all these folks are doing is not trying out anything but just going through the motions in a near moronic state.Secondly Joseph commented about talking to people's deepest desires etc. I hear this point of building a relationship with your list to create trust many times. The thinking is that trust can then lead to a more profitable list. Do you really believe that people are that gullible and stupid? Many subscribers (I really don't like that word either) are much smarter than the people trying to market to them. Sure some clever copy-writing can create emotional triggers that lead to sales but think about the normal level of conversions..we are talking about 1 or 2% with even the best written sales pages that are claimed to have cost thousands. What about the other 98% who simply ignored the message or saw it for what it really was..a sales pitch.People always will initially react negatively to a sales push of any kind. People do respond to freebies and good quality offers but don't lets fool ourselves..we can only impact on their decision in a very minor way. And if we try to do any more then any trust you have created is instantly dissolved and your list starts to dwindle in size. Even for the biggest and most successful online marketers. if the truth were really told, for them it's never going to be a matter of trust it's simply a matter of turnover a numbers game. so when I hear people saying they are building trust what they are really saying is they are setting up their targets . is this bad no but don't insult people's intelligence by thinking the giving of freebies builds trust. This is the real online opportunity. Don't forget the 5 P's of offline matierkng and create a business based on openness and brutal honesty. I repeat people are not stupid so let's stop treating them that way in our matierkng. If you have something of high quality to sell that you TRULY BELIEVE will benefit others then be proud of your offer and TELL them you are selling it for mutual benefit. There are many countries in the world. like Australia and England, where people in the financial services industry (and that includes insurance) MUST declare ALL their commission and bonus-able earnings BEFORE the customer pays for the product. Think about that for a minute Customers then will only pay the price IF they truly believe the person presenting the product is ADDING VALUE and not just presenting the product. that's why thousands of sales people left the industry practically overnight. The interesting thing is those who survived are regarded by the customers/clients as being absolutely essential to their financial future and most of these sales people do not take commissions they charge a fee for valued added service and are making more money than ever before!Just imagine what the impact of that type of legislation would have on online matierkng!Well there is my few dollars worth and I hope it stimulates more healthy discussion. Admittedly some of this was a bit tongue-in-cheek but I have always enjoyed a good debate. Best wishes Jason[]Jason Ser Reply:August 22nd, 2010 at 6:22 pmWow! Hi, just to let you know from the start, I have never used this "Mr Unblock" or whatever it is he calls hiself service, but was directed to this review site from a forum link. I hate to see so many people still getting scammed by these scum! Please just look closely at the posts, most good reviews are logged in as Guest, (as I probably am now) Now look at the terminology he uses, and always in slightly broken english. Please people, dont let them get away with it!
