“The customer service is horrific”

I made another order with HB. It usually takes few days (three at max) to get it delivered. By the end of the 6th day I started to get nervous and suspicious about my parcel. Apparently the delivery man left my parcel unattended in our front yard. When we called customer service and explained the situation they were transferring us from one to another. I know how your feeling I've been waiting 5 days for my parcel to come and when I phoned them my order receipt number isn't even recognised even though it says in my order history processing new order it's a complete joke, I'm surprised holland and barret havnt gone bankrupt.

I ordered a few things o line to help. Increase milk supply. For my baby after a c section as I could not drive to the store myself after 9 days of waiting and speaking to their customer service. Every other day after day 3 and getting different stories I was finally told on day ten that the parcel was lost and I would have to wait another 4 days for the order to be delivered. Wishing I hadn't bothered its soo annoying no one gives you a straight answer or seems bothered to help even though I had phoned several times they all said as. This is your first time to contact. Us as if they. Had no record of my complaint or order. Very very poor poor. Customer care never again will I use Holland and barrette

I've seen so many negative reviews about their online service--all I can say isgo into store!!!!!! My local one in East Grinstead is fantastic! The staff really know their onions,and it's so nice to see their old Manager returning--he's a really nice bloke and nothing is too much hassle--he'll even get you stock if the store doesn't stock it if he can. i usually check reviews of places before ordering but forgot to do so with H&B, then reading these other reviews, i thought messed up here.! i ordered 3 items, coconut oil , fish oil, and some joint tablets. the coconut oil never came but the other 2 items did, they have stated they will send it when it comes available, but i am not holding out much hope. both items did arrive in the specified time, and i am happy with the products. the best part for me is i only got charged 3.58 for my items… Read Full Review

“STEER CLEAR - BUY AT THE SHOP”

Do not go near their delivery service. Two orders, one took 2 months to get to me and still had an item missing which took another 2 months to arrive and the second order did not turn up at all. “ New Staff just too much!”

I like the products although I wish they had non meat gelatine capsules in more of them as I avoid meat due to the hormone content as I am treating myself for hormone imbalance. Also the labels never seem to have descriptions on them as to what the product is for.. fine if you know what you want, a minefield for people who may not have researched before hand. I have been waiting now for almost THREE MONTHS to receive items missing from an order and cannot seem to get any satisfaction whatsoever from emailing or phoning. “Beware of product prices”

Bought 2 bottles(240)capsules of Cod Liver Oil 480 capsules in total today at £12.99 per bottle =£25.98. Have been a H&B card holder for a while. When I checked prices later they could have told me to buy the discounted 120 capsule bottles at £5.10 = £20.40 saving me £5.58 or giving them an aditional profit of 27% ! My deliveries from Holland and Barrett have recently been arriving very late - one even arrived damaged. I have tried many times to contact this company by email, but I have never received a single response - just a generic email telling me that I will receive a reply shortly. I buy a fair bit from here just because i can't find the products anywhere else. I really wish i could! There website takes so long to load, so much so i give up and have to go and talk to one of many useless staff members that just tell you to buy from the website... that doesn't work! “Overcharged”

My order arrived quite promptly but I was overcharged. I emailed the customer service twice, once on the email address stated on the online receipt and another through their website. Both were unsuccessful. It is not fair to have to pay for calls just to request for a refund when it is not the customer's mistake. “vouchers useless”

“Appalling Customer Service- So bad”
