“Isn't such a service illegal?”

I live in Italy and was delighted to find that Holland and Barrett are one of the few to deliver to this country. I received my parcel two days ago, only to find half the items missing - £50 worth. I've just written to them for the third time but have had no response. It's shocking for a company with such a big name to treat its customers in this way. Hi, the same happened to me, i live in italy too. I Made orders from them before and everything went great, but not this time. I spend about 50£ and i just received the half of my parcel! I sent them so many e-mails with no reply. Did They sent you the rest of your order or give you a refund or you lost your money? I hope you will reply me.

“The worst ever”

It is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I bought the sunflower oil online and 2 months later it was still not delivered. I sent 2 emails to the customer service and it took almost 2 weeks for a response but the problem has never been resolved. “Rip offs”

I have used Holland & Barrett for over 10 years from time to time. I am absolutely disgusted that, due to greed (they have not given any reason), they keep on raising their prices. For example, I use to be able to buy "Maximum Antioxidant Selenium with A, C & E + Zinc" 30 caplets for around £4.50 only a few years ago. However, they now charge £7.99 for the same product. Manchurian Ginseng (500mg, 50 in a tub) was again under £5 for 50 but now £7.50. Ginseng complex again gone up massively… Read Full Review

“Horrible ...”

I sometimes go to Holland and Barrett on Marylebone High Street in London just because they are close to where I live. The store is really shabby and dirty, not very hygienic. The last time I went there I noticed that the keyboards of their tills are completely black ... they have probably never been cleaned for about 20 years! “delivery service is unbelievably atrocious!”

I need a cream to clear skin and I've never ordered anything from holland & barret, seeing that they're all about natural products, I thought I'll start purchasing their products. 3-5 working days they told me it would take. “Piped music!”

Why have Holland & Barrett introduced piped music?! Impartial research shows that more people dislike it than like it. It is particularly unpleasant for people with health problems and for the elderly. It means that Holland & Barrett will have to increase their prices in order to pay the music licence fees. Shopfitdirect has recently done a survey showing that loud in-store music is one of the main factors driving customers out of high street shops. Perhaps Holland & Barrett should read this.

“The customer service is horrific”

I made another order with HB. It usually takes few days (three at max) to get it delivered. By the end of the 6th day I started to get nervous and suspicious about my parcel. Apparently the delivery man left my parcel unattended in our front yard. When we called customer service and explained the situation they were transferring us from one to another. I know how your feeling I've been waiting 5 days for my parcel to come and when I phoned them my order receipt number isn't even recognised even though it says in my order history processing new order it's a complete joke, I'm surprised holland and barret havnt gone bankrupt.

I ordered a few things o line to help. Increase milk supply. For my baby after a c section as I could not drive to the store myself after 9 days of waiting and speaking to their customer service. Every other day after day 3 and getting different stories I was finally told on day ten that the parcel was lost and I would have to wait another 4 days for the order to be delivered. Wishing I hadn't bothered its soo annoying no one gives you a straight answer or seems bothered to help even though I had phoned several times they all said as. This is your first time to contact. Us as if they. Had no record of my complaint or order. Very very poor poor. Customer care never again will I use Holland and barrette

I've seen so many negative reviews about their online service--all I can say isgo into store!!!!!! My local one in East Grinstead is fantastic! The staff really know their onions,and it's so nice to see their old Manager returning--he's a really nice bloke and nothing is too much hassle--he'll even get you stock if the store doesn't stock it if he can. “STEER CLEAR - BUY AT THE SHOP”

I like the products although I wish they had non meat gelatine capsules in more of them as I avoid meat due to the hormone content as I am treating myself for hormone imbalance. “Beware of product prices”

Bought 2 bottles(240)capsules of Cod Liver Oil 480 capsules in total today at £12.99 per bottle =£25.98. Have been a H&B card holder for a while. When I checked prices later they could have told me to buy the discounted 120 capsule bottles at £5.10 = £20.40 saving me £5.58 or giving them an aditional profit of 27% !
