I ordered from Holland & Barret but did not receive a confirmation. I chased them after nearly three weeks. They said they no longer did this item and immediately refunded the money. The email was anonymous, and they did not offer any alternative. They had taken my money and did not bother to make contact. “Terrible Customer Service - On-line ordering is a fraud ”

I ordered goods few months ago on-line and they deducted my money from my account. The goods were never delivered , I emailed them and there was no response. I ordered something else 11 days ago and it supposed to be dispatched within 48 hours, I called them to enquire about both of my orders, I was told that my order has been damaged in shipment. It is a good store. It sells lots of thing that may be hard to find elsewhere. It can be expensive at times, so it is best to wait for the products you want to come on sale. People on this site are complaining about the website. That does not reflect the shops. It is not the shop's fault if a package is not delivered, it is the company's fault. If I lived close enough to an H&B store of course I would use it but I live in the North of Scotland and nearest store is 80 miles away. It is therefore a day out just to get to the store to buy a couple of items. I have used the online service for the first time so will wait to see how this unfolds before making any judgement.

“Don't bother ordering online.”

I placed an order on February 22nd, received an email notification stating that as this is a busy time for them to expect to wait an extra 24 hours for my delivery. 2 weeks later and no parcel or further communication from H&B. I called today to ask about the progress of my order and was told that the parcel was damaged whilst in transit and that it is being sent back to them. “extremely suspicious site ”

I ordered online, got a confirmation of my order and then, another email saying my card got rejected. I called my bank which said this site was registered as a fraud and that it was really unsafe. “Parcel Never Arrived and I still haven't received refund”

Its been over 3 weeks now and I still haven't received my refund. The delivery is terrible, first of all I never received the delivery, apparently the couriers left it on my porch and I don't even have a porch, it is a block of flats. If they left it outside then someone would have bound to have taken it. I am actullay sceptical if it ever was delivered at all. Same happened to me. It has been 2 months since I placed my order and never arrived. And they don´t even answer my emails. These people are real swindlers. I will make sure my British friends never buy on your shops, and of course, I will never ever do it again

I also ordered on 25th January but heard nothing. I emailed two days ago and received an automated response with a case number but still no action. In the past phoning has made a difference but you may have to wait a long time to be answered. I will give them until Monday then I will have to phone as I need the items I ordered!

“Never received online order”

After waiting 12 days to receive an online order (their website says delivery should be within 4 working days), telephoning 3 times to find out the status of the order, and e-mailing, I finally cancelled the order (I hope). I do not recommend online shopping with Holland & Barrett. “Parcel lost, shop does not want to know”

I ordered quite a number of products over a month ago. One package arrived soon enough, but the other never showed up. I emailed the company several times with no reply. Then two weeks ago I received a claim number and a promise to investigate. Nothing since. Calling them is useless as they do not pick up the phone. “Problem with Online Payment ”

I received an email about credit card rejection for the second time from H&B exactly one week after I received the first email. I called the H&B customer service immediately after I saw the email again. They said the order was shipped two days ago and that the payment went through. “Poor quality, awful customer service”

Recently bought a pack of nuts from Holland and Barrett. Not only their products are overpriced, but also of a poor quality. As I was snacking on this bag of walnuts while watching tv, I noticed something strange but didnt pay attention. Almost the whole bag eaten, i realised that most of the walnuts had maggots in them. “Delays to pay and rubbish reward card”

Most of the time it takes ages to pay. The software on the tills they use seems very slow and cumbersome. Often, the person taking the money is also trying to push the crappy Holland and Barrett Reward Card, causing more delays if a customer agrees to be signed-up for one. I've had the Reward Card for ages and have never cashed in any points. It seems overly complicated. I have to remember to print-out a reward voucher I think, and take it into the shop? You need to wake up ./ Every company has a different scheme and just because you are unhappy doesn't means others aren't, they are for sure monitoring it.. Staff in most of the shops has to offer reward cards and unfortunately as most of the things are moving on-line ... who will be updating tills ? seriously .. I am sure you are one of those who shop on-line as well

You don't have to print the voucher if you have a smart phone just open your email and show it to them it will scan it or they just type it in. ...again all companies do data mining

If I start complaining about shop stuff I can go Asda to Harrods
I love comments like that completely useless !!
Lets just replace everyone with machines ... hope you you have a better luck with that

If they are monitoring it, then they need to change it. Clearly, H&B are monitoring comments like mine - hence your response.

Stop defending a crappy shop practice and a crappy reward card - instead change it!

I've put my H&B reward card where it belongs . . . . in the bin!

I'm having the same problem. I placed my order online - 15/9/13. It's now 1 October. I rang to chase it up three times and was given excuses (damaged in transit, orders are behind etc) Even after speaking to the manager they cannot guarantee when my parcel will be delivered! I wont be ordering from them again!
