After purchasing a gift in the Metro Centre Debenhams Miss Selfridge I was completely shocked at how the concession manager of Miss Selfridge spoke to her staff and another nearby customer. I knew I was taking a chance ordering from a UK site but I have ordered from ASOS before and they always showed me great customer service and must importantly my things got here to the US in time. I have order twice from them before and received my items but this third time I have still received nothing and their customer care is rubbish!!!! They never reply to any emails and I have sent numerous to them. I am so annoyed.

“Still have not received items I paid for”

My online experience: Ordered and paid for on the 02/07/11 confirmation email sent the same day. Dispatch confirmation email sent on the 06/07/11. Estimated delivery to Australia from the UK 5-8 working days. Till this day I have not received my parcel. There are no current strikes or labor disruptions in the postal service for either countries, no weather disruptions nor is it a a public holiday. What could possibly be causing such a delay. “I have taken 3 days off of work to sit in and wait for...”

I have taken 3 days off of work to sit in and wait for HDNL to deliver my item that was supposed to be guaranteed next day delivery.

Day one: They said they had no access to my property. Funny that royal mail and other couriers have never had a problem!

Day two: Driver says item was delivered to me personally. This is a total lie. I have been in all day and no one has come to the door. Nothing has been left with a neighbor and no signature has been obtained.

One month has passed and I am still awaiting a refund. I have contacted customer service who sent an automatic response with exactly the same as what was on the site. Did it not occur to them that I read the site before contacting them? I contacted them a 2nd time and they have yet again, sent me an automatic response. 4 weeks is absolutely disgraceful to await a refund. I'm sorry to hear about your problems unfortenly I can relate.
Do they even read their emails?? I've also got the feeling about automatic responses since they don't seem no notice what I have written in my messages to them. I bought a bag from MissSelfridge http://www.missselfridge.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?beginIndex=0&viewAllFlag=&catalogId=33055&storeId=12554&productId=2402427&langId=-1&sort_field=Relevance&categoryId=208112&parent_categoryId=208108&pageSize=40 , slow delivery, first time I used the bag for like 2 hours the heart detail of the bag fell off and I didn't noticed where it got lost because I got the idea that a bag shouldn't fall in pieces the VERY first time you use it. Now I'm having these slow half-automatic conversations with customer service and I'm not even sure they can be bothered to actually read what I write in my emails. Oh and by the way I live in Sweden.

if you need something urgently ie. for Valentines Day do not order through Miss Selfridge or any Arcadia Group site they use HDNL to deliver their products who have a very poor reputation. It is not clear on the sites who they use I assumed was Royal Mail and placed an order for next day delivery only to be advised at lunchtime today that my order is delayed due to 'technical problems' at HDNL.
