Dazzling and subtle, never lacking any action. It was to good to stop reading even for an hour. The Black Magician Trilogy is at least as good as LOTR and Harry Potter, read it.

A good read and I would recommend reading it. Very enjoyable despite the bad points. I'm still confused as to whether I like the style of writing or not. It is an omniscient style, which becomes frustrating and enjoyable and it is left on a cliffhanger each time. Hard to put down once you start!
