“Still sitting at airport....”

7th July - Flight from Luton to SPlit 14.15pm delayed to 17.30, then 17.50 then 18.00 then 18.30. £4 voucher for a £10 meal. Staff in shops in departure lounge laugh that its par for the course with Whizz Air. No one around to explain the reason for delay or give on the confidence we will be flying. I was a bit worried about travelling with Wizz Air after everything I read, but they were absolutely fine. We flew from London Luton to Prague and back again with no problems at all. Please can someone explain how the on line boading works? I read on here that you have to pay 14 euro each way that is very unfair and is the proccess easy as I find the way they do things is confusing....Comments with any info would be helpful....Thank You

“Their goal is to rip you off with hidden fees”

Things I was unhappy about: Very little leg room - the worst I have ever had. We were unable to checkin online because it was 2:55 minutes before the flight (they have a 3 hour time limit that they don't tell you about until it is too late). As a result we were forced to checkin at the airport, for which they charged us 14 EUR each. I have never flown with WizzAir before I go to lithuania Aug! I am concerened about this check in online or boarding card and how easy it is! I know I have overpaid on my transfers!! I have to admit I am thinking have I made the right thing flying with this Airline....I would welcome any comments?? Easyjet is much easier I think but they dont do Lithuania..

The 3 hour time limit rule for online check-in is clearly stated on the booking page, so you can easily find this information if only you are willing to read, therefore, you can not blame the airline and you paid extra for being careless. I've been using Wizzair for many many years and nothing ever went wrong apart fron one 1 hour delay - not a bad score considering well over 50 flights I've done with them. As to carry on limit, you seem to be forgetting that Wizzair is a low cost airline, so they have certain standards. If you not happy with them, you can simply go for premium airlines, pay 5 times more and be marry.

The cancellation fee was more than what we paid for the tickets. Also, they changed the time of the flights without any notice. Only upon reviewing the itinerary did we find out about the time change… Read Full Review

“Pleasently surprised”

After reading so many negative reviews, I must admit I was totally freaked out and I promised myself I would write a review if I survived the flight. Well, apparently I did and that's a good start, haha. This was the first time I flew with Wizzair. The flight was 10 minutes late or so, but we made it to Charleroi on time, anyway. Hi,

Airport check in fee is included in ticket price (when you buy online), so I had no additional fees to pay when I actually checked in at the airport.

Wizz air is the WORST airline ever, stay away from them!!!!!! For a third time they stranded me at the airport in London and destroyed my weekend travel plans! The reason - technical defect of the plane! Wizz air uses old planes with defects and flights are NEVER on time. There is no one to talk to in customer service but all you can do is submit a claim on the internet. I traveled with Wizz Air from London Luton to Budapest, and when I was at the boarding gate, because the aircraft was going to be full and there was no room for all the hand luggage, I was told that my luggage was bigger and that I had to check it in. Same experience for me today from Prague to London. Dont expect any compensation or even an apology. How are these people operating one of the largest crime rackets in the aviation industry and getting away with it?

“Brilliant Experience after reading Negative Reviews”

Having read some terrible reviews on Wizz Air, I have to say being worried about flying with them was an understatement. I was pleasantly suprised, I found them brilliant, on time for both journeys, had leg room as booked priority boarding and was lucky enough to get seats at the front for both journeys. I had a case of denied boarding. I missed Xmas with my family because of them. My luggage made as they didn't bother to offload. (security???). So I was stranded in London with nothing over Xmas after 14 hour flight from Asia. No auctioning seats, no customer care, neglecting security concerns. The follow up even worse. Ive flown with Wizz air about 10 times now, and only once were they on time. Once they cancelled my flight completely. “The worst airlines ever!”

I have been flying quite a lot and most recently Wizzair. They are the worst airlines ever. By the customer service I usually receive both at the airports and via email I presume that they are well underpaid. In case of cancelled flights they are enormously stingy. I booked my fly with wizzair because i thought it will be cheaper, i was wrong! At the end i paid 5 times more than with any other airline. Wizzair website is completely ridiculous! Got stuck all night at Luton airport after Wizzair failed to let the 20.25 depart at scheduled time on May the 12th. OK, technical problems are a reason to postpone a flight but at least provide service (such as an overnight hotel) or information to the passengers indicating WHEN it eventually will go off. I've seen a lot of negative reviews on this forum and it has surprised me. I fly from the UK to Prague extremely regularly (4 flights a month for the last 14 months) and I have always been very happy with Wizzair's service. In fact I switched to Wizz Air from British Airways and Easyjet as I found both to have consistent delays, higher prices and just generally a poorer experience.

I had priority boarding and extra legroom. At the Baneasa airport in Bucharest, nobody took that into consideration, I was among the last to reach the aircraft, but that's not Wizzair's fault. On the plane, I've got a sandwich - apparently ok, but it's filling was literally frozen. On the return flight (which was during late night with a morning arrival), the aircraft didn't have any reclinable seats (at all!!!!) and getting some sleep was really a pain. They have stolen our money.

After along delay of 2 hours in the airport (after passing check-in), flight was canceled due to "Weather Conditions" although all other flights from that airport were operating in a normal way.

Requests for compensations were completely ignored.
