I must say I rushed out to purchase the final installment of the Harry Potter series with a mixture of excitement and melancholy. It was of no disappointment whatsoever, it was as enchanting as the 1st four books (the previous 2 being so so on the usual Harry Potter scale). It gave brilliant 'closu ...

Read it! It's a great book and completes the series and has a more mature storyline so seems less like a children's story.

I couldn't believe my eyes when I read that someone thought that the ending of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows was predictable. WHAT! Once he started to talk to Dumbledore at King's Cross you thought that he really was gone & that Voldemort had won. I thought the Resurrection Stone was going to ...

I loved the book and felt sad when I finished it. Read the last five chapters again. The ending was great.

For me Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows was a real let down after all the ranting and raving. I found it hard to get interested, whereas normally I can't put them down. The first 2/3 are slow and in my opinion the ending might as well have been in a Mills and Boon.

I always wondered how J.K. Rowling could have written the last chapter years ago. Now we all know. It really is a great ending and so happy and hopeful, just as we all have wanted.

The last couple of chapters of Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows really tie up all the loose ends. You end up thinking "oh I see, that makes sense now". JK Rowling has really saved the best till last!

This is by far the best Harry Potter book of them all. It makes all the characters - especially Dumbledore - seem so much more human. We have always seen him as the almighty headmaster who knew everything. In this book, J.K. explores his past and shows us that even the greatest of wizards has flaw ...

This will become a classic children's tale for generations to come. I for one will be getting a full set as soon as they come on the market to be able to pass on the enjoyment to the next generation.
