    Signed up to Direct Line car insurance due to better than average cover, including being allows to drive other cars 3rd party. I couldn't find much information on line but according to their website this cover is standard (see http://www.directline.com/about_us/news_141005.htm ).

    we tried to change as we had seen cheaper and Direct Line would not allow us to and said we had to wait for our renewal date. I said to cancel then and they said I would have a cancellation fee. I even asked what their new quotes were and they refused.

    Direct Line have been fantastic, I have had 2 accidents at fault and both were settled quickly with no problems.
