After a 4 hour drive my husband and I was really looking forward to our day at Alton Towers only to leave very disappointed!. Even at this time of year the queues were extremely long. The rides are good. However, the queues are terrible. 30 minutes i had to wait for and prices are not exactly cheap. Overall, it was a good family day out for all of the family.

Good selection of rides, however Charlie and the chocolate factory has to be the worst ride I've ever been on. Good value day out if you have a 2 for 1 entry ticket but Alton Towers just isn't a patch on American theme parks.

Excellent rides of all types. Big rides but also some especially created for children. A great family day out, if you're prepared to queue. Rides are so good, variety of rides, and loads of different themed gift shops, with awesome posters keyrings, well the works!!! Love it!!!

Alton towers is still the best theme park I have been to. Excellent day out, but costs are quite high in my opinion.

Good points, the rides. Especially Nemesis, Rita, Air and Oblivion. The theming is also very good. It is a very good theme park and I would recommend it to everyone. But make sure that you go on a weekday (its usually quieter). You can queue up to 2 hours for just one ride. Sometimes you don't get y ...

The rides at Alton Towers are excellent!! It is a great place to go if you're bored and with kids..!! Most of the rides are big ones. It is a great place to go!
