Went to Alton Towers for my birthday. We stayed at splash landings, it was lovely and clean and very welcoming. The buffet we had for evening meal was worth £16 as there is a lot to choose from. We had tickets for the park for two days which meant we managed to get on all the rides. Would def ...

Went to Alton Towers with 2 mates on a Thursday in March. Go mid week during term time and you will have great fun. We only waited 15/20mins max for each ride, whereas in the school holiday I have known people wait for nearly 3hrs!! Had a thrilling day. Mates dragged me on all rides, but I am so gla ...

If it either didn't cost so much or people got there moneys worth by being able to get onto all the rides without waiting in queues for hours which spoils the day. I know its because you need to make money but if people did get there moneys worth or it was cheaper, then more people will come and bri ...

It is the best theme Park in Britain I went a year ago and I'm going tomorrow probably, besides queues there are no other problems there is a variety of food to buy.

Amazing theme park, but there were some bad points. I'll get the bad points over and done with at the start!!! First the main entrance is really confusing!!! I first went into the wrong entrance and then finally when I went into the correct entrance I got completely lost!!! The queues were really lo ...

Great rides, brilliant scenery, extreme adrenaline! I go every school insset day and have a great time for just £12,. Inset days are very quiet so no queue worries but don't visit in holdays because I hear the queues go up to 4 hours, I have had queues of 30mins at the worst.

Had a wonderful day at Alton Towers but think there needs to be more rides for older children. My daughter loves rides, however she found the small ones boring but rita, oblivion type would terrify her. Great day but take a picnic. Mcdonalds is wonderful to feed the kids. Tie a ribbon or something o ...

The queuing, seriously. I expected to queue but the 10th of May was an absolute joke. Got to the park gates at 9.30 in the car(entrance to the site not the gates) 2.5 hours to get in and park the car and get to the gate to but a ticket to get in (they had sold out of fast track tickets by this tim ...

Overall I`d say don`t go during the public holidays or weekends (of course that's exactly when the whole planet wants to go and take their kids), go midweek. Queuing in the sun not good, queuing in the rain, not good, pot luck with the weather but def avoid peak times. Nice gardens for some peace an ...
