Park was brilliant with lots of things for kids to do - even for toddlers (we took our 4 and 1 year old). Splash landings hotel was clean, bright and food tasty (the chocolate fountain was to die for!! We stayed for 4 nights - 3 days in the park and because of this we found the evening entertainment ...

We've just returned from a 2 day break at Alton Towers Splash Landings Hotel and theme park and it was brilliant. The park opens to hotel guests at 9am so we beat the 'queues' and managed to get on Air, Nemesis, Oblivion, and Rita twice all before 11am. My 9 year old boy loved every second we were t ...

First day of school hols and queues at Alton Towers a nightmare over an hour for AIR.

Signs in park not easy to follow and you can easily get lost. Monorail and cable cars stop with rides so you can't get transported back to main entrance at the end of the day.

Cost of ticket or website doesn't s ...

On the 4 occasions I have been to Alton Towers (sadly only day trips), service has been excellent and the longest time I have ever had to queue for a ride was 100 minutes due to the ride being Rita and it had only been open a week. It is a beautiful theme park with great scenery which makes it a wor ...

The experience we had at Alton Towers was awful. The monorail was broke so we had a 40 minute walk to the entrance. We then queued for an hour and a half to go on the ride "spinball wizzer" which broke down when we were on it, we were stuck there for twenty minutes, we then queued for "two hours" to ...

My daughter went to Alton Towers today with her school, £25 for entance into the park and getting there and back where as teachers were free so they have no reason to complain, but because of the queues most of the pupils only got to go on 3 rides - a total waste of money!!!

Alton towers theme park is a beautifully keped theme park. When i went there wasn't much to do for my little on 6 and 3 but they brought along cloud cookoo land which was excellent for both my kids!It also had mutiny bay by sharkbait reef. I would recommend you pick a sunny day as not alot of the ri ...

Alton Towers had grumpy staff, girls in cafes very obviously not very well trained, hadn't got a clue! Weird serving system, queue one end to order, another end to wait(a fairly length of time for a tea and a coffee. Food and drink a rip-off when eventually served!! Rides are alright if they're work ...

We have been to Alton Towers ever since it was a field and a pirate ship (about 30 years ago) and it has always been fantastic. We went this week, before the school holidays started and sorry to say it was awful. The park is dirty and tired looking. There is litter everywhere and the floors are dirt ...

Alton Towers is the best theme park i've ever been to. I've been to many different theme parks, and this one is the best. I love the food and the hotel. The food is delicious and there is a wide range to chose from, with buffets and takeouts. There are two different hotels and are BOOOTTHHH amazing, ...
