I went with my friends left home at 7am. Got to go on all the rides. I sat on Nemesis and Air within 20 mins. Best rides Air and Oblivion. Best fastest ride is not Stealth it is Rita. Alton Towers is much better than Thorpe 'babies Park'. Well worth the money. I cant wait to go again

Alton towers in my point of view is a very experiencing life time opportunity. There are many thrill seeking rides even though they are quite old but you can never get bored of them. If I had the chance I wouldn't miss it. Also its very attractive and not to mention popular.

I feel that the park needs to be re themed to inject some sparkle back into it! Back in the 80s the park was in its heyday and it needs to look back to move forward! Huge park, lots of buzz, lots to do for all ages, excellent and slick organisation. Park employees all friendly and helpful. Can't stress how good the attention to detail really is.

Alton Towers is the most fun day out I have ever had. I went with 8 mates and it was just incredible. Be warned that my mate is quite Fat and couldn't ride on anything but Nemesis and Oblivion, so if you like Pork Pies, don't plan on going on anything.

I went for my 12 year olds birthday and we were there from 1030 till 530 and got on 4 rides, disgraceful. Rita and oblivion were both closed so not worth money, think we should have been told before entering the park. Was waste of time and money.

Alton Towers, in general, was fantastic! It is a theme park that is suitable for every age group!! It is also great that there is so many big, scary and thrilling rides at the one theme park!!
Alton Towers is a great theme park and i would definitely recommend it to you!!

Alton Towers theme park have a £4 charge for the car park which you have to buy a token from a machine to get out.
Why the charge when a family will have spent £150 plus during the day? Just another case that we the English public have to put up with. Monday 23rd June 2008.
