I love alton towers its my favourite theme park at the moment. The only bad things I know is the fact that it is mostly out in the open with very few indoor rides. I cant wait to go again, I go every summer at least twice!

I went to Alton Towers for my birthday this year on a Thursday towards the end of April. It was brilliant, I have never seen it so quiet. Maybe the £28 entrance fee and £3 car parking was putting people off. It is so much better to go when the kids are at school in the middle of the w ...

Alton Towers is the BEST theme park I've ever been too, never mind the bad points, the rides are really brilliant and you won't take back the money you paid! Did I mention this is the best park ever?

Alton Towers has got to be the place to go if you love roller coasters. Nemesis is my favourite ride, it's smoothness is a real bonus for such a high thrill ride. With a real focus on different types of roller coasters, it is ideal for those who love speed and experiencing "g forces" but offers not ...

Alton Towers is the best day out ever! All the rides are cool and you don't get to wet on the rapids unless your sat in the wrong place at the wrong time!

I'm lucky enough to have witnessed the development of Alton Towers since the corkscrew was first introduced. As a youth I loved the place, and went often. I visited again recently and was pretty disappointed by what's happened to the place. Newer rides like Air and Rita were undeniably great but the ...

I have been to Alton towers twice before and have loved both visits. It had a lot of thrilling rides like Rita and Oblivion and a lot of kiddie rides like the squirrel. Staff look after you and help you with your needs.

I really enjoyed my day at Alton Towers on August 2004. But it wasn't half busy. One thing I was really annoyed at was some people had "fast track tickets and they could get on before everyone else" how unfair. After travelling from Southampton that morning to get there I was really tired!!. I would ...

Went to Alton Towers on 5th August and stayed in a hotel which had power cuts, no drinks to be had at 9pm as water got in to their Electric, no swimming either in fact very little what they advertise in there brochure. Early rides were non-existent until 11pm, some didn't open until 3.00pm and a few ...

I have recently visited Alton towers and I thought it was a great day out. I like very fast rides, it had a good selection of rides and if you don't really like fast rides they still have rides that are a lot of fun e.g. the rapids.
I think it is a great day out for all the family with plenty of ac ...
