I was really looking forward to Alton Towers. I was quite shocked at the £4.00 parking fee, but decided it was worth it. When I got in, it was a very tidy clean environment with plenty of rides, which would have been good if I had a chance to get on them all. The queues were awful, lasting w ...

To be fair, we had a great day out at Alton Towers. We bought the family ticket which got us on the flume, the runaway train, Duel, and the corkscrew.
If we had enough money we would have bought the big ride fast track ticket as we only managed to ride 3 BIG RIDES all day.
Hex was fantastic; the w ...

Drove down to Alton Towers from Glasgow with my boyfriend on Saturday. We got there for about 12.30pm, it was a beautiful day, around 29c, and being in peak season the park was very busy.
The first ride we went on was Nemesis. The queue was about 1 hours long, but because of the heat it felt lik ...

Alton Towers - On the day I visited, excessive queue to get tickets, very high charge for parking (where else can you park?). Queen of Rita broke down several times - they blamed the weather.... it was a light drizzle, the ride is outdoors - this is not Orlando, there is rain here and the ride is un ...

I have only been to Alton Towers on a peak day once before and that was over 10 yrs ago. This year I took advantage of the Fast Track tickets you could buy for an extra fiver. These gave us short cut access to Oblivion, Air, Nemesis and Flume. I had stated previously that I would not give in and pay ...

I went to Alton Towers on the 22nd of June and it was, all in all, a good day out, no way worth the money though. As it was nearly 30 degrees that day, everyone was cooking and the rides were breaking down every 5 seconds due to the heat. They weren't down all day but they were down at intervals of ...

I have been to Alton Towers many times but haven't been since Air was added, so I was very excited at the prospect of riding Rita and of course Air.
I went there with my wife and 3 kids (13,11 & 1). Although my 11 year old is too scared of the Big Rides and my 1 year old is a little young, my wife, ...

I absolutely love Alton towers, I'm going again very soon and I really can't wait. It's so exciting I just really adore it. I go every year and this year I'm taking my boyfriend who has never been before. I'm just dying to take him on all of the rides. My favourite ride has got to be Air but I re ...
