I applied for tickets for Charlie & the Chocolate factory, was given a reference number adn was told that I would receove confirmation in 48 hours, the next day an e-mail was received saying that servers were under maintenance and I would get confirmation in 24 hours - nothing happened - I emailed them - No reply, Phoned - No answer.. I was then contacted by my credit card company who advised me that almost £1000 of fraudulent transactions had been made on my card - this is the ONLY place that could have cloned my information - DO NOT USE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES

Went through princeofwalestheatrelondon(dot)info which is an "affiliate" and within 12hours of putting through my order, my card details were used to rack up over £1000 in online shopping. Thank goodness for Amex's diligence. Do not use this website! I just wished I had read these reviews first

Same as everyone else - thought it was lucky they had tickets when everyone else had sold out. within 24 hours, someone had spent £874 on lufthansa airline tickets. luckily my debit card provider stopped the transaction.

Same as the others, my card info was stolen after booking the tickets through princeofwalestheatre They book through Encore apparently after receiving your card details but either sell or otherwise fraudulently use your card details on other transactions. Thank God I wasn't dumb enough to use a debit card and Amex saved the day! Do not use this website!!!

Like the others, within 30 hours of booking tickets with this company, my credit card had been used fraudulently. Thank goodness for the diligence of Bank of America.

This company rang me to verify details by phone including credit card details. Yes I was stupid. The card was skimmed the same day. Positively do not use.

This site do not have the tickets that they appear to sell and after using the site, my credit card was used fraudulently. So, do not use, and if you have had the same experience, I recommend contacting actionfraud, Trading Standards and the Office of Fair Trading and reporting your problems so these sites can be investigated.

A couple of days after using my credit card on this website somebody made two online purchases using my card. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Tried to book Les Miserables Tickets what we thought was the Queen's Theatre official site...we were re-directed to a different website. They state they sell Official West End Theatre Tickets, which is not true. It's a company based in India. We never received a ticket confirmation and therefore couldn't go and see the show. The amount of almost 200 pounds has already been taken by the company tough. We only got our money back by calling up the bank, which was a real hassle! So do not book through them!!! EVER!!!

Trying to book tickets for Les Miserables through what I thought was the theatre site, Queens Theatre. I received the confirmation email from westendtheatretickets. I was surprised that tickets for good seats were readily available, lucky, I thought, until we turned up at Queen's to pick up the tickets; the reference number I was given referred to Hairspray in 2007! The man at the ticket deck was very helpful and advised me to get in touch with my card provider and report a fraud; this I did after long and expensive phone calls on my mobile outside the theatre in the pouring rain. The next day I received two calls about transactions attempted over the internet on my card and managed to cancel them and the card. (We managed to get tickets for Les Miserables the next day from Leicester Square box office, in person.)

I was worried when I read the reviews of this site after I had bought my tickets. I then felt better when the credit card transaction showed up as ENCORE tickets. Their website seems much more genuine. However, I have today discovered 2 transactions on my credit card for a well known clothing firm for more than £800. An account has been opened in my name and items dispatched to a different address. I have never had this happen to me before. Is it a coincidence that this happened a few days after I have used this website?I will leave you to decide. You have been warned.

This has just happened to me, do you still get your tickets? They've taken the money but not sure if I should still go there to see, tried phoning the theatre it's elf but they said they wouldn't know because it was a third party, £2000 in different purchases was attempted to be taken out of my bank

I spoek to my theatre at the time and was told that if I turned up with my email confirmation of purchase and my credit card statement, that they woudl honour the booking and find me a seat. As it happened the tickets were there and waiting for me as normal. The theatre apparently will know first thing on the day, so a phone call first thing on the day of show woudl settle your mind and possibly save you an unwasted journey?

I recently made a transaction on this website to buy theatre tickets .. I did not get an email that evening to confirm the tickets I had bought, and when I checked the website the next day my tickets were still on sale to the general public. I then checked and their office and it is in India. I called my credit card company and there had been several fraudulent transctions put through on my account amounting to thousands of pounds. Be warned....

ABSOLUTELY, POSITIVELY do not use this company. First, they took far longer to confirm my Les Mis ticket purchase than they promised (which made me wonder if they had stolen my credit card info). Then the tickets that they promised to be "clear view top price" were actually RESTRICTED VIEW that were CHARGED at top price. I didn't know this was the case until I picked up the tickets at the theatre box office. After calling and e-mailing several times and never getting a response, I finally talked to them and they dodged all responsibility. They are a HORRIBLE company, and someone did try to use my credit card number for online purchases not long after this. Considering that a previous customer had the same thing happen I am highly suspicious that they were the thieves who also stole mine. I wish I had found the other reviews before my purchase. Even the Queen's Theatre Box Office representative I spoke to said they are known to give customers trouble. If you like being duped, lied to, ripped off and mistreated, then use this company. Otherwise, find another one!!

What a stitch up!!! Have just been charged 165 pounds for the Best tickets to see the Jersey boy's. Only to be supplied with tickets in the Stalls. Tickets that I could have got for under a 100 pounds. These people are complete con artists. No confirmation until after they have taken your money and there is nothing you can do. Do not use them you will loose.

I was stupid to order via londonwestendtheatretickets - never got any tickets but they charged my credit card plus on that same day I had a few more transactions charged to this credit card (someone shopped online using the details of the credit card I provided) - may be a coincidence but I do not believe in such coincidences - I used this card for 10 years and on the day I ordered those tickets (which I never got by the way, neither could I contact the website after the purchase) I had suspicious other transactions on the card. Draw your own conclusions.

I also purchased tickets through their website in early October and someone stole my credit card info soon afterward! Attempted charges didn't show up until a couple of weeks later. One of them was on cocosa.com (clothing, etc), then a small credit was made from another company in Illinois - the credit card rep said they often do that to see if the account is working. Did you have a similar situation?? I will be letting my card company know about your similar situation because I think this terrible company is the only place that had access to my number. Thanks!

WE were looking for the best tickets to see the lion king, they advised us and assured us that the price represented the best seats for us and our 9 year old. When we got the seats the tickets were not as sold. They refuse to engage with us to resolve the situation. They lied on why the price did not match the seat and have stopped answering my e mails. Just the worse company giving the theatres in London a bad image. The advice from the box office was always check the seating plan yourself, book under the shows name and ask the face value of the tickets (Vat is not added to this face value, you can buy it for that)

I thought I was booking tickets through the Prince of Wales Theatre (website princeofwalestheatrelondon.info). I ordered top price tickets but when the tickets were confirmed they were £64 tickets at a charge of £82. The site appears to be deliberately misleading and is linked to londonwestendtheatretickets.com. Needless to say I am cancelling my credit card payment through an official dispute and have bought tickets direct with the theatre direct I now know this is www.delfont-mackintosh.com. The theatre said that there is nothing they can do about the misleading website but have had similar problems reported. To avoid problems like this think twice and ensure that you know what you are getting before purchasing through any third party agent. Fortunately in my case I have been able to act to cancel and ensure that I get what have pay for. However, this was only after I became suspicious about the company on receipt of the booking confirmation. It is unlikley that any agent will supply ct price tickets for Mamma Mia and buying direct through the theatre is likely to be the best bet.

Do not use \"London West End Theatre Tickets\" (www.londonwestendtheatretickets.com) in any circumstances. They do not supply the seats listed whilst booking; you will get an email saying they are looking for seats for you. They may or may not find seats; those seats will almost certainly be different from the ones you booked, perhaps even different theatre section. They are based in Norway, not the UK. I had to phone 4 times to cancel when I read the (genuine; ignore the 5* one) reviews here and realised what was going on. Hung up on, put on perpetual hold, very bad lines, poor spoken english, etc. There are plenty of other ticket agents who are genuinely official; only use those who are a member of STAR (star.org.uk). This website claims to be \"official\" but has no links- official or otherwise- to any genuine London theatre or reseller organisation. I booked good, specific seats for a show: seat D9 in the stalls. Received email mentioned above... Then rechecked their website to find that the seat they had sold me- D9- was still listed for sale... Whereupon I checked for reviews of the organisation and realised I'd been tricked. If you are reading this now having suffered a similar fate, please do keep trying to get through to their number to cancel your booking (have the long hexadecimal booking reference handy). It will be tortuous but you'll get through eventually. I just have and cancelled- still waiting to see whether they still try to charge my card (have spoken to Visa about them) but am now going to book with an official reseller and am much happier having divorced myself of entanglement with \"London West End Theatre Tickets\" (www.londonwestendtheatretickets.com). Lesson learned.

My credit card information was stolen shortly after my purchase as well, and you are not the first other reviewer to say the same!!
