    I have to add this, after further listening since my last review of these Acoustic Solutions AV120.

    Bought these Acoustic Solutions AV120n on a whim. Initially to replace a pair of ageing technics. Ho Humm what a discrace.
    Muddled sound, overbearing midrange which shouts as soon as you turn up the gain. Bass. you have got to be kidding. I have a pair of small JBL that kick out better bass.

    I like these Acoustic Solutions AV120 speakers, but I also hate them, they're just better than they've got any right to be.

    All round the Acoustic Solutions AV120 are quite good spekers but they are poor quality and could do with a mid range.

    Overall perfect pair, Played best with 2 speakers facing you not too far near a wall, look nice and also sound better with speaker grills off.

    You won't find anything anywhere near as good for the price. I had a pair of 10 year + old Monitor Audio's that I thought would be about time to replace, and one day while shopping I came across the AS AV120's.     The AV120s are as good if not better as speakers which cost ten times as much, such as makes like mordant short 900s

    These AV120 speakers from Acoustic Solutions won't disappoint. They're only 50 quid and perform like a dream, well worth the money... don't bother spending hundreds on a brand name pair when these will do the job.

    I got these AV120 speakers (by Acoustic Solutions) as they were cheap and i had read a review they sounded good and i am well happy with them.
