If you are skint , look no further. They are medium efficiency, so 30 watt per channel amps are minimum required to be able to crank up the volume without clipping.
Use a good front end and amp however and they perform way beyond the price on most music. Used this way they are a good choice for som ...

Yes there are better out there, but not for this money, the Acoustic Solutions AV120 are £49.99 at currys so I took a chance, ended up £39.99 at the check out.
Got them home hooked them up to a Dennon DCD 825 CD
