THIS IS THE WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH.And I have dealt with many as I am chronic ill and only shop online.
Beginning of November 2010 I ordered some chair cushions for myself. These eventually arrived. Were not great quality but were a special offer so not expensive and do the job for now.

IF ONLY I HAD LOOKED AT THIS SITE FIRST!!!
Ordered several items, they took the amount from my card IMMEDIATLEY, 26 Nov. Part of the order arrived just prior to Christmas. Many e-mails later, they phone me, 30/12/10, saying that overdue items will not be stocked or never were! and will send me a cheque for the balance which I should receive in 10 - 14 days. I ordered a coat for my nan in July still not had called spent around £10 in calls said they do cheque trace they never received the cheque because when they get orders they all get put on one pile and cheque just get cashed . yes take my money first so sometimes orders go missing what a awful way to run a business, and I know someone who worked for this company BEWARE CON ARTISTS they take your money and that is all they are bothered about, the profit margins are sky high. Ordered two items. One picked incorrectly (corduroy trousers sent instead of fleece lined waterproof), the other an unacceptable substitute sent without first seeking acceptability.
An appalling introduction to this company. I shall not use them again.

I ordered two pairs of trousers for my husband on 6 July. One pair arrived and was advised the second pair would be despatched shortly. Despite several e-mails I am still waiting. I have requested to cancel the order and have asked for a refund. I am still waiting. I really wish I had read the reviews on this site before ordering from this Company. The trousers are for my husband who is severely disabled and I am unable to take him to the shops for clothes. (read more)

*******BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY*******
Most online traders do not take your money until the goods are despatched. 1 month later, it finally arrived. They sent the wrong item. It is now another month, they haven't collected nor refunded. This item was for my Mum who is a disabled pensioner just out of hospital recovering from a serious illness. Customer service is not highly rated in this situation - God help the rest. (read more)

My pensioner father ordered some trousers and despite spending another £6.20 on calls to them has still not received anything! They ignore my e-mails too!
He just cannot afford to loose this money from his pension!

I placed an order on 4th of July and sat back and waited, paid the £4.00 for postage so didn't expect to wait for too long. By the 10th, still no delivery so I sent an email to enquire on the progress, received a reply on the 14th saying that my order was in THEIR warehouse and would be leaving shortly for delivery.

Goods received but shoes too small. Clearly not size on box. Returned immediately 28 days ago but no refund forthcoming although they say refund in 10 working days. No answer to e-mails. No response to letter so far. Refuse to pay excess 0871 phone charge. What is worrying is that some conditions of return not not comply with Distance Selling regulations ( they cannot charge a restocking fee and cannot charge for repacking ) (read more)

Cant disagree enough with the review above - have been a long standing customer and they have provided good standard products at a decent price level. You get what you pay for Chums in my opinion are value for money. (read more)

I don't know how to put the rating as 0.5 but I would put it at even less than that.
I placed an order on 17th Dec, recieved an email comfirming my order and stating the items were in stock and would be recieved in the next 7 to 10 days. The money was taken from my account on 18th Dec.
6th Jan - Phoned the company to ask where my order was. I couldn't get through. When i called the automatic system stated the call would be answered within 3 min, and being charged at 10p per min. After 10... (read more)

I ordered goods in Sept 09, still awaiting delivery. Overcharged and had to be reimbursed. Made numerous 'phone calls and when I was able to get through I was told blatant lies, i.e your items were dispatched yesterday only to be told over a week later that they had just been sent! I,ve paid for these goods and I am still waiting. Trading Standards are the next place of call. Wonder if Chums read these reviews if so they should be ashamed. (read more)

I ordered a pair of shoes on Chums, and paid for express 48 hour delivery as they were needed in a hurry. My credit card was charged, and I received a confirmation email from the payment system and from Chums themselves. A week later, still no shoes, and on phoning the customer care number provided in the email, I was informed that they had no record of my order, and that they couldn't help with online orders anyway - I'd have to use email. I have used Chums before, and service was satisfactory. However today I managed to obtain a quick reply, and was told that my order had been despatched on 6th January. The delay was because they had been busy. I used to work in customer support, and would never have considered that an excuse. I do not have high hopes of receiving my order and found your site while searching for information on any other problems with this supplier. (read more)
