My husband did not take up the renewal when it came. We cancelled the direct debit. One call did not activate the policy but did re start the direct debit. We kept cancelling and they kept re starting it. After 11 months finally got it sorted. I did not take up my renewal Stopped the direct debit and told one call I did not want the same problem again. They may be called One Call but what this doesn't tell you is that your one call takes an average of about 15 minutes to be answered. Most (although not all) of the staff I've spoken to have been unpleasant and unhelpful and they seem to take pleasure in attempting to justify why their company is ripping you off. Email responses are totally inadequate which means that to get any sense out of One Call you have no option but to call and therefore waste 15 minutes on hold before you can speak to… Read Full Review

“Signed up with this company last year £500 or so...”

Signed up with this company last year £500 or so fully comp, forgot to mention 3 points that were on my licence from 4 years 11 months ago (1 month left for insurers) They added £170 to my premium, for 1 month with 3 points. This year I renewed because they were roughly the cheapest, paid in full and go through documentation saying I was covered from 1pm on a particular date. I obtained Onecall via a comparison website and it came out cheapest for my needs. Everything was easy to start off with but then I got a leffter asking me for a copy of my driving licence counterpart. This stumped me, as I uploaded the front photo of my driving licence and also my NCD from my last insurer.
