Don't expect insure and go travel to pay up first time even for something serious eg cancer. After much nagging and letters from my doctor I got £47 out of the £350 I claimed for. I also received a renewal letter - where's my shredder!

They are truely incompetent. My father had a heart attack in New Zealand while I was travelling in India. Brilliant!! No other word for it. Insure and Go Travel Insurance paid out- of course took their time- they are an insurance company, they all take along time but i was treated fairly and kindly by all.
