I think this Insure and Go Travel Insurance is a disgrace. I've always used insurance when going abroad, this was my first claim and I received pittance. We recently went on our family holiday for 2 weeks, on the 4th day received awful news of a death in my immediate family. Got flights home asap ...

Insure and Go Travel Insurance have an automatic renew since 2009. you have to call them 21 days within receipt of the renew letter to cancel your automatic renewal, which is in the small print! failing that they will take money out of your account, each year unless you opt out of this by phone/lett ...

I was backpacking in China the last year and had two of my bags stolen, by two men on a motorbike. They drove up from behind me and ripped my bags off my shoulder, a situation I had no control over.
In my bag, I had all my essentials (creams, medication, make-up etc.) as well as phone, camera, MP3 ...

Airline lost my luggage for 5 days. Had to spend about 100 euro on clothes and essentials until my bag was returned (HALF what was "allowed" under my "cover"). My spare insulin was in my main bag. When my main supply failed, I had to go to hospital in Greece to get a new batch.
Back in London, I wa ...

My husband's molar tooth broke on the second day of our trip to Canada. He phoned Insure & Go in UK and was told to go ahead with the repair to his tooth. On our return we filled in the awaiting claims form, and were asked for various documents. We were refunded in full for the dental treatment t ...

I used insureandgo as their policy was half the price of other companies but still gave the same amount of cover. It was a hassle getting the cover confirmed with numerous phone calls back and forth. I needed to make a claim but it was unsuccesful, if you read the exclusions it pretty much means tha ...

Very good service. Insure and Go Travel Insurance quote was easy to get (I liked that I didn't have to enter all my details before a price comes up). Policy documents came through in just a few days.

People might be happy with Insure and Go when they take out the policy but they wont be so happy when they try to make a claim. I put a claim in for my missing camera in February and they are still trying to get out of paying for it, by asking for more and more information. I have sent them everythi ...
