I have had to seek independent advice just so I could give them back their car. I now owe them £1000 (which was £1700). I was told to go to their office in Dartford. When I got there I was given a new credit agreement to sign, with 24% APR over 4 years (£2400), so I did not sign.

My car broke down four times in the first two months, and I was told they would not fix it due to it being out of the 28 day warranty, but I had a 3 year warranty on the vehicle.

Recently I changed jobs, and my pay date had changes. I informed Welcome Finance, and they agreed to change the date and send out the direct debit forms. There was a mix up with my husbands wages and we told Welcome Car Finance that their payment would be late. Welcome Finance then bombarded us with phone calls and sent someone round, which we have been informed, they are not allowed to do.
