I signed the agreement and at no time was it pointed out that you will be charged 90 euros to go to Gibraltar when I asked about the 90 euros charge for 4 hours I was told you went to Gibraltar yet another sham from a Spanish car hire company will not use this company again.

Never again. Paid extra for top package for convertible car. They never received/acknowledged any of my emails. Took ages to collect car (no designated counter as described) long queue. Poor man serving us was working his fingers to the bone and highly stressed. Car was dirty. Convertible roof didn't work for 3 of the 7 days. They refused to reimburse any of my payment. Sent about 5 emails before they replied. Disgusting attitude. Will never use this company ever again. Centauro have always been good. We'll go back to them in future.

I rent cars all over Europe, but whenever I go to Andalusia, this is the one. If you pay for fully ensured (which is very affordable here) you get your key and when you return you just hand over the key. No fuss, no car inspection, no hassle. There is no comparison to Malagacars.

I have used Malagacar a number of times now and I have never been disappointed. The service is second to none, always got exactly what we asked for at a good price. I have used quite a few hire companies before I found Malaga cars but now I would only use this company. The pick up from the airport is very straight forward and never waited very long to pick our car up. The drop off is very easy and have always got straight onto the bus to take us over to departures. Over all I give them 10/10. Even the online hiring was very easy even for someone like me who isn’t very good on a computer. Will be using them from now on about four times a year.

I am a regular and long-time customer of MalagaCar.com(10 years plus). I find their hire rates very competitive with a broad range of modern cars. All we want when arriving at the airport is a seamless procedure without any potential for argument or sense of being 'ripped off'. So many car hire companies fail to make customers aware of the inclusions and omissions until they arrive at the desk. Malagacars lays out clearly on the website exactly what is included in their three levels of package so there's no room for misunderstanding. Once in the Reception office its up to you to see which desk to go to depending upon whether you have the 'full pack'which fast tracks you through without needing to discuss insurance etc. If you have your own insurance that inevitably incurs leaving a deposit but that's common sense as Malagacars needs that cover. Its up to you to pay for damage and then reclaim it yourself from your policy. I recently returned a car as it needed its engine oil changed and was immediately offered another without delay or fuss.

I have used them loads of times. Good value, fast service and friendly staff. Although just off the airport, the shuttle only takes a few minutes and I think it is faster and less hassle than returning a car to the large on airport parking area the other car rentals use. It has never taken more than about 20 minutes from landing to driving away.

WARNING!!!! We left Malaga on 27th of June. This morning the company charged me 40 euros of 'administration fee', based on a speeding ticked issued on 22th of June in Cadíz by the local authorities, which is already paid almost a week ago, immediately after it was arrived. We booked and paid the FULL PACK rate, which includes, and I quote from their Terms and Conditions 'Fully comprehensive insurance WITHOUT EXCESS' end of quote. There's a huge list about fees which doesn't included in the rental fee, but refers only the Basic and Comfort Pack rate. Since I was warned by some of my friends that the spanish car rental companies on the continent are tend to charge extra fees, I read the terms and conditions (twice), and decided to pay the Full Pack rate, to avoid this. Unfortunately, they still found a way. When I wrote to the customer care and requested a refund, a man lectured me, about 'my negligence', which 'they cannot pay for'. Unabashed business practice and tone with the customer. Simply unbelivable. Such a shame they decided to ruin a by the way smooth and nice experience for 40 euros. Avoid this company!!!!

I have used malagacar many times and have always been very happy with the service. I rented a 7-seater from them for three weeks in June 2019 and found their service, premises and staff to be even better than previous years. Unfortunately we had a puncture in a small town some 150 km away from Malaga and received excellent service from the company. Having phoned them,a breakdown vehicle arrived within 15 minutes of my phone call and I was transported, with the vehicle, to a tyre depot c15 km away where the puncture was repaired and we were back on the road very quickly. The service was brilliant and I can strongly recommend malgacar whose service levels are extremely high. Many thanks.

good and professional handling at the customer desk. the description of the different packages very clear, no small letters to overlook. the fastest ever handling when we returned the car, no problems at all with the fuel level or anything. Next holiday in Malaga region, we will definitely use again Malagacar.

I visited Malaga in may. It was my first time hiring a car from Malagacar. The car was excellent, very quick service, easy paperwork. No charges for the fuel, you just have to return the same amount you received the car with. Returning of the car took no more than 5 minutes, very fast transfer from/to the airport with the buses of the company. Highly recommend!

Very good experience. I was surprised that the car (Fiat 500) was brand new. It served us very well over our 2-week holiday. The staff are very responsive (email answered overnight and the best part with full package was that you just drop off the car without any hassle. Literally, just drive to the drop-off point, leave the keys inside and hop on your plane.

I have hired lots of cars in Malaga over the years. This is my second and definitely the last time with Malagacar. They rented me a car that had a flat battery after lees than 100km - I had only used it to drive from Malaga to Nerja and then 3 times to the supermarket. The first time, the kind man from the breakdown truck service restarted the car with jump leads and then advised me to drive for half an hour to recharge the battery, which I did. A few hours later we tried to restart the car to drive to the airport to catch our flight home and the car would not start again. When Malagacar eventually answered the phone they said they would arrange a taxi and breakdown truck. We advised them that we needed to get to the airport to get a flight and they said that they wouldn't be long. After many many phone calls to Malagacar (about 30 of which were not even answered) we advised them that we were going to miss our flight as the breakdown truck still hadn't arrived and they were still asking us to wait. We ended up leaving our keys with a neighbour and our lovely taxi driver managed to get us to the airport with literally minutes to spare. It is obvious that the car was not fit for purpose and had either a faulty battery or alternator and therefore was clearly Malagacar fault for renting us such a defective car in the first place. However, they charged us for the breakdown to recover their own defective car and added my electronic signature to documents to pretend I had signed them! I am still waiting for a response from the manager after I raised a complaint in October - the excuse for no response in October was that it had been a Bank Holiday. This company is a disgrace and their customer service is appalling.

I have used malagacar.com a few times now and have always had brilliant service. I was given a brand new VW Golf recently, to rent, which was amazing as it was spec’d-up with adaptive cruise control, electric auto-folding mirrors, Apple CarPlay, navigation, etc. Looking forward to my next time already. I fully recommend this company and I always go for the VIP pack (which I also recommend). The collection/drop off at the airport is quick, easy and reliable. The staff have always been friendly and accommodating. I won’t use anyone else in Malaga.
