Terrible!! I ordered 2 pairs of beach shoes and a wetsuit for my daughter in late may. Nothing has arrived I have tried phoning the company and nobody picks up. Funninly enough there is no 'track my order' service. This is disgraceful and I have had to explain this to my bank numberous times. Do not use this compay. In future I will read reviews for oline sistes before using them to order three items.

Please do not use this company. If you can get your goods from another then do so - you will save yourself a lot of grief. I have never come across an internet (supposedly family run) company that has absolutely no customer service. I placed an order for a wetsuit on 11th July which was supposed to be dispatched within 2 days -I'm still waiting and have had no response to telephone messages or e-mails. I have since placed the order with TWF who sent it to me within 48 hrs. I only wish I used them in the first instance. This is the first review I have written,I felt I had to warn other customers to avoid at all costs - you will just be disappointed.

How this company are allowed to trade is beyond me, wished I had read some reviews prior to parting with my money. Ordered a wetsuit and shoes for my son's holiday over a month ago and NOTHING, I have left 10 messages and none have been returned. This site should be closed down.

I ordered a wetsuit for my daughter on 10 July for a holiday we're going on on the 26th. Website claimed they usually dispatched within 2 days or would notify if goods were going to be delayed. I waited 10 days, then started to chase: no response yet either to my e-mails or phone messages. I now want to cancel, since I can't see them getting the wetsuit to us in time, but since they won't respond to me, I don't know how to do this! I've never had this sort of experience from an online retailer before and am really really unimpressed with them.

I ordered a wetsuit from this company for our daughter to use on holiday it was also meant to be a birthday present which it was late for. We are now 16 days since day of order and still no communication from them. We go on holiday at the weekend and it's now too late to get anything else. Have emailed and phoned the company and still no response very unhappy and wish I'd seen these reviews before I used them!

I ordered a wetsuit the last week in May and have heard nothing about progress of order. This non-communication is not acceptable. I have left two phone messages, a comment via the website and an email and there has been no response. I've since used another website (big orange water sports) who despatched the wetsuit on the same day. Crazy treatment to customers!!!!!

I have now been waiting for my delivery for a month. I have written multiple emails to the company and left phone messages. Emails are not answered. Nothing is been explained. The most disappointing thing in this is that one orders for ones children, they expect to get their kit, they don't get it; how to explain to them all of this. The company advertises themselves as a family run business, and that does not square. I would strongly advice not to order from this compnany unless you are prepared to just hang about and see what happens. Do not expect any communication from their part.

Ordered 2 wetsuits of different sizes (as I was unsure which would be best) for my daughter when we were on holiday in scotland, Born2becool promised next day delivery by courier for the sum of £7. Five days later after numerous phone calls which blamed the couriers for delays,one wetsuit finally turned up on the day we were leaving, sent by royal mail 2nd class post!!!! Needless to say the wetsuit sent was too small and too late, even though I'd been payed for and been promised the larger size also. I left voice mails on weekly basis, threatened with legal action and returned the wetsuit recorded deliver. I had one return call, very apologetic promising a full refund. I am still waiting for this 8 months on. They owe me £60.00. DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU LIKE GIVING MONEY AWAY FOR FUN!!!!!!!

I've bought swim suits from this comapny 2 years ago ordered a pair of manbi snow boots 2 weeks ago from them as my local shoe shops didn't have anything in stock (the weather forecast was threatening snow!). Ordering online was really easy and the website is dead simple to find your way around. The person I spoke to to ask about delivery asked if we needed them quickly and suggested we courier them so they'd get to us before the weekend. They turned up on the Saturday which was a real surprise for our 6 year old boy - he was thrilled and wore them all week! It's a pity some of the comments here are so negative - but having bought from them twice with no problem my experience has been fine - they aren't 'scammers', just a small business trying hard to please.

This company is all smiles until they take your money, then it's excuses, excuses. I have had to go to my bank to recall my payment as I have had no contact since returning my goods. These people are scammers don't do business with them and post where ever you can about how bad they are so no one else is fooled by them

Appalling customer service, no item received, I’ve had one email in two weeks suggesting I will receive a refund, which of course hasn’t arrived. In the current economic climate I am left with the suspicion that there is something wrong with the functionality of this company. Buyer beware. There are plenty of very good suppliers out there I suggest you go to one of them instead!

A good web site, after order received a prompt email stating goods will be sent and then nothing. No delivery, no goods, all emails unanswered and despite being told on their telephone voice-mail service that they will ring you back - NOTHING! OK so Christmas time is busy, but my confidence in this company fell through the floor, irritated by their total NON COMMUNICATION I got in touch with Trading Standards. I bet I am not alone. The good did arrive, they were perfect I was happy with the price. All would have been so much better if they had deemed just to speak to me or even respond to emails. I would then have been happy to give praise rather than complaint. I shall never use them again fearing next time I won't get the goods at all. A great shame because the product was super and the delivery time was not too bad - had I been forewarned. Communication is so important in developing confidence in Internet companies. This company have disappointed at the first hurdle - be warned.

Avoid this company at all costs. Took money and order on 12 oct and on 16 dec only 2/3 has been delivered, most of that was last week. Ordered full ski outfit for daughter costing £140. I keep having to call and email to threaten legal action if I don't get goods or refund. (£50 aprox) the customer service is non existent and they don't seem to be at all bothered about my problem. The details have been passed to trading standards and consumer direct to take further.

Ordered a ski set for my son on October the 20th, really needed the coat as his old one was too small and had to be sold. After about 6 days, rang up and left a message. No response. Followed with calls and emails pretty much each day thereafter until about November 1st. No Response. When I finally got a human being on the phone (which only happened on one occasion) I was told the coat would be with me the next day, or at the very worst the day after that. After about 3 days, rang up and left a message. No response. Followed with calls and emails pretty much each day thereafter until about November 10th. No Response. You can see the pattern here. Rang and left message threatening to seek consumer advice, then finally got an email saying there had been a mix up and they didn't have the ski set anyway. They cancelled the order - gee, thanks. You can tolerate problems if you are kept informed, but the service was abysmal. Nice website though.

I ordered a pair of girls snow boots on the 3rd October 2011 from this company. Order completed and paid on the website. Immedietly received an email for the company with my order datails. Within 24 hours received another email telling my order has been completed. By this point i'm assuming my order is possibly on route to me. 7 days pass and i have had no contact from the company or received my order. I attempted to contact the company to enquire about my order and am met either by an engaged tone or and answer phone. I leave a message for them to return my call in relations to my missing order quoting all my order details. I receive no call back or in fact any contact from the company. I attempted to contact the company in the following 3 days again leaving my contact details and my order reference - Still i receive no contact from the company. After 11 days of receiving no order and failing to contact the company despite my efforts i finally left a voice mail stating that! I was required to threaten the company in a sense prior to them taking any positive action in relation to my order, and informed them that i would be contacting the office of fair trading in relation to them having my money and me having received no order. I, believe it or not, received a phone call from a woman within an hour of leaving my voicemail for born to be cool. She stated that my item had been sent and had no excuses for not returning any of my numerous calls/voicemails. She stated that AS A GESTURE OF GOOD WILL she will post \"another\" pair of snow boots to me and would recontact me the following day with the tracking reference number - What exactly did i pay for when i paid postage?! Needless to say, the followig day i received no call with tracking reference number. After leaving another irrate voice mail i received an email from her with a tracking reference number. I did not receive my order until 16 days after i initially placed my order - in my opinion this simply was not good enough! I was contacted approx 12 days after my order was placed - prior to receiving my order - and offered a full refund due to the fact that i had not yet received my order. I gladly accepted. I was also informed that they would send me out \"a free pair of ski socks\". I would only receive these if i removed my negative reveiw from this site. Although i am now happy with having received my order of snow boots and a refund due to the problems experienced I will not be bought with a pair of socks and feel it neccessary that other people are aware of the negative experience i had. I have not received the socks and very much doubt i would now anyway. My advice - if you want your snow wear for this year dont order from born to be cool!!\"

I previously wrote a review that did not go in the companies favour! At the time I was not happy as my order had not arrived in time so wrote my review based on this. Since then the company have been in contact and have been very appologetic and have resolved the issue in a very high standard. Throughout the process they have been very easy to deal with and customer service has been excellent. I would like to appologise to Born to be Cool as I judged them on other reviews and not my personal experience. I will be ordering with them again!
