I made a reservation today with the Best Travel Store for my husband and me, and in putting in the names, inadvertantly put in my grandson's first name instead of my husband. I discovered the mistake when my e-ticket arrived in my e-mail. When I called to change the first name, I expected to have to pay a penalty for the change, but since I had made the reservation today, they allowed me to make the change without any penalty. its like they are crooks, they dont have the liver to charge your credit card directly, they still have to have a three way conversation with you and your bank, or have you fax ur info, they are a tiny company with too much hazzle and stress, cheap and annoying. they mess ur time schedule and time. too small to deal with it. they are pretty much unstable and most financial institution dont trust them, beware! its ur call… Read Full Review

I have booked many flights through BT-Store before. This type of agency is different. I would not recommend booking airlines tickets less than 3 months in advance. The more advanced the time is, the better. Let's say it's March now and you plan on going to Hong Kong during High season in December. Look ahead of time. If your thinking of getting tickets for last minute, go somewhere else.

This company is the worst travel agency I have ever worked with. I bought a ticket with them and paid for it. Within 24 hours they contacted me and told me that I could not get the ticket for the original fare. The new price was $200 more than the price of the original ticket. Scary--I once had something like this happen with a travel agency in NYC. Makes me worried to do business with anyone except the airlines directly now. Have you sent a report to Better Business Bureau? They are very helpful with issues like this.

I, too, would urge all of you to stay away from BT Store. The prices they have are actually really good deals - as other posts point out- but if a problem comes up with your ticket/reservation they say they cannot do ANYTHING to help you and you, as a consumer, are left in a very difficult situation, especially if you don't have the extra cash to re-book a ticket. I canceled a one way flight from India to New York. They've made it nearly impossible to get a refund. Apparently you need to send them a fax with your credit card information so they can charge an additional $100 for a cancelation fee, additional to the airlines cancellation fee. It would make life so much easier if they could just automatically deduct whatever from the amount they already charged on my card but now I have to pay 1oo just to get my money back. Makes no sense. I had to buy one-way tickets for an international move from Argentina to the US. This was the ONLY place that had reasonable one-way fares, directly with the airlines was just ridiculous. Everything was completed online, and I received the confirmation code in about two hours. Then I went to the airline webpage, punched in the code and double-checked that they had it in their system. This is the worse service ever!!! Do NOT use this ticket agency. BTW This is not a travel agency; they only issue the tickets with not liability on their part. But they do not mention that until you have a problem

You are better off buying the ticket directly from the airline.

They do NOT have customer service at all. And, they will refer you eventually to the airline if ANY issues arise.

This website "Best-Travel Store" offers unavailable flights to entice customers, but watch out when you select fixed dates for search. The results will still show unmatched dates. That's how we booked our trip - with the wrong date.

STAY AWAY from Best Tarvel Store. The advertise fares that are lower than anyone else, let u book it and than contacting u back with the BS that the airline cannot honor this rate. If you want stress free travel, stay away from Best Travel Store pleeease! My husband used them and had the worst experience ever. He was taken off a flight in Africa and spent a night at the airport before I could arrange to get him out of there. They said he needed a transit visa which BTS nor the airline had told us about. Best Travel Store regrets that the poster chose to ignore our conspicuously placed TRAVEL VISA WARNING that requires online customers to verify whether a (transit) visa is required for travel to their final destination. We provide a hyperlink to a specialized visas webpage where up-to-date information is available. Unfortunately, traveling without a visa is similar to leaving the passport at home. It is an airline's responsibility to verify at check-in for international flights that a passenger has valid travel documents, including all required visas. The passenger should have been denied boarding within the US in this case. Best Travel Store cannot take responsibility for travelers' failure to obtain valid travel documents and we provide clearly posted warnings about all such issues during the online booking process.

Dealing with this company cost me a lot of stress and money. I booked an overseas flight through BTS 2 months ahead of time, since they gave me the best price ($6700 for 4 tickets to europe), got a confirmation. But when showed up at the airport, I discovered that the tickets have been booked, and then canceled. That's it. No notice, nothing.
