I had a week of Sourav from Ranstad Maidstone ringing and emailing me to fill this out and chasing my references. When I had finished and sent them everything he asked for NOTHING! I didn't hear anything from them and they ignore emails. Unprofessional and rude!! Avoid!

In voted to dexterity test for role with Ferrero. Left in reception for 45 mins before chasing with reception. When they finally turned up there was no apology and the person actually said he would try to get me in early as though he was doing me a favour when it was already 45 mins late. Hardly great preparation before doing a test but they didn't care as long as they get paid by Ferrero

Started a job at a local plant through Randstad in Orangeburg, South Carolina. Was hired as a Forklift Operator and was originally told that I would be paid a particular hourly rate. I was supposed to work partly on the line and partly as a Forklift Operator, but as I started and they got rid of one of the operators, I somehow slid into the role fully. I was cool with that. I agreed. I worked the 1st week and then the 2nd week and this was supposed to be my first paycheck. The first week, I asked my recruiter if they had my payrate down correctly and he told me yes. When it came time for me to get my paycheck on that Friday, I went onto the portal and did not see a paycheck for me which I thought was very strange. I started getting worried so when I got off that Friday morning, I still had no paycheck into my account. I waited for the representative after working 12 hours and he stated that he was sure that payroll had put time in for me I was tired and ready to go home. The HR Rep claimed that he was going to contact the lady in charge of payroll but it was still a little too early. I later on received a call back from him stating that the payroll lady confirmed what he thought had happened and that she had released my funds already and that I should see it at any time. He claimed that she was supposed to call him back with a reference number. I was not feeling this at all, so before I went to the office, I googled a Customer Service number which I called and they told me that payroll NEVER put any time in for me. I asked about my hourly rate and when they told me, I was livid! That was not the payrate that was discussed and I had been driving the forklift almost right after I started because I had to take my test. I went to the office. A bunch of running around (about 2.5. hours) and now they tell me that I would not be paid out until Monday. I know it does not help, but I'm sorry was all that I could get out of him. I was so upset. How could this have happened? Where is my correct pay? Where is my orientation pay? I called out two nights because I was sick and I have bills. I just felt betrayed all the way. Needless to say, I was contacted again by the same HR guy today (WHEN THEY DEPOSITED AN INCORRECT AMOUNT INTO MY ACCOUNT) telling me that he had to terminate because of the days I missed! Say what?! Man, where is the rest of my money and I have a check coming this week as well. I guess that pay is going to be messed up, too. This just CANNOT be right what they are doing to people. Very UNPROFESSIONAL!!

Take your details and references send you to the wrong building site, then tell you the client does not need you, worst agency I have worked through, lucky for me the client snapped me up and I got the work.

Stay away from these little r@ts! Not even bothered to answer your phone calls, voicemails, messages and emails! Just a timewasters!

This review is based on fact. Recruiter at Randstad got in contact regarding position of manufacturing engineer at Caterpillar Belfast. Advised that he would apply and send CV to client. No job description was sent. Have heard nothing from him no reply which is professional courteous as other recruitment companies will do advising if client interested and status of application. Contacted Randstad after one week and still waiting on job spec and information. Signed FR

Got told being paid stillwaiting while staff going for weekend in Barcelona on my and others wages

Sacked me even though I was performing because my mother had a stroke and they got concerned I might be off. Used the excuse I had a CV on CV Library so I couldn't be trusted. HR then wouldn't talk to me and a week and a half later I found out they charged me so much for working there I got paid £79. Should have been 2k. £500 alone for training. They don't tell you this or they ''retain" further money from you as "fuel withheld". I wasn't bitter about being let go really but I find the excuses to take so much money off people absolutely scandalous. They will do anything possible to keep your wages.

They hardly gave me work once I had passed their requirements and then rang me after a year to ask me how much another agency is paying me! Heard that they go to schools and offer a cheaper rate so that supply teachers are paid even less than they are now! Don't ever use them, they do not provide their staff with proper pay and will use you to find out information about other agencies. Very sly!

Big hiring event..went though background ..drug test..oo btw..she lets all women/men go in bathrooms ..with purses..while she stands outside for u to bring drug test out and show her..u peed.then told to go back in to pour in sink and bring test back to her she puts in bag.. .had paperwork all filled out u passed.. before u even went to give drug test...anywho was told id start . has been 2 weeks..no phone call..wont answer emails......st pete location

Not paying me I've waited 2 weeks to be paid rang on Friday 18th and told it was done but wasn't paid rang again on the 21st and was told it will be sorted still nothing I have no food at home I'm nearly out of gas and electric its not on i shouldn't be chasing my money going to keep ringing until I get it

Names of staff, no point since NONE of tem even called to just say the job has been tooken. Not professional they are a loss of time with all their tests and everything. You call for one job and they offer you another one. You want a permanent job they offer you a one month contract one. They just want their commission and worst agency ever.

I was given a job and started but on my second day a lady turned up ! I was told to wait home until matter resolved heard they were chasing it up which I think was a lie! The supervisor has ignored my phone calls and texts , it's now been two weeks and still nothing ! Safe to say I will be taking a new job iv been offered ! Avoid at all costs!!! There's nothing good about this company!

Beware contractors, if you take their insurance, they cut you off the moment your gig ends..Even though they don't tell you that, or even tell the insurance company until weeks later, even though they have paid the dentist, Randstad cuts you off retro actively weeks later, and the insurance company is asking the doctor for the money back! Beware putting your own money out for any pre-employment testing - they say they will pay you back but they never do.... If Randstad comes calling on you RUN AWAY...FAR FAR AWAY...

If i had read the reviews on this agency before i took a job with them i would never have touched them with a barge pole . they always blame someone else for wages not going in to bank on time, takes for ever to sort things out even though they have all the information they need. my advice to anyone thinking of going with this agency is Stay well clear

Randstad St Petersburg. After going to what they call a job fair repeatedly nothing ever happens. It Is like they are going through the actions and not placing people. I just do not get It. They send out e-mail all the time with loads of jobs but nothing. I have no Idea how they keep the doors open or why. I would avoid this place like the plague. And the staff tends to treat the clients like something that they found stuck on the bottom of their shoe.

I first came into contact with Randstad a couple of years ago. The person who approached me constantly badgered me - leaving rushed voicemail messages, that were aggressive in tone. I was busy working in the day, so couldn't answer immediately! I was in touch with them again recently, with a different representative after seeing a job opportunity. They seemed friendly enough so we arranged to meet to talk through roles. On the day of the meeting, she had brought along the rude pushy colleague who left me voice messages. She didn't even mention that 2 people would be present. I tried to think nothing of it, and gave them a chance. After a positive meeting, they said they would email me with prospective roles. They never did, and they did not reply to my follow up email. I phoned up one of the prospective companies that they said had opportunities, as I was keen to follow up. Surprise surpirse, they said they didn't have opportunities. In conclusion, Randstad are unprofessional, unhelpful and rude. They are dishonest and not transparent - all the things you'd expect from a recruitment agency. They lie to their candidates and misrepresent the companies that they represent. I would be very careful of dealing with them, and would not recommend them at all - there are better recruiters out there who do not waste your time and get your hopes rasied.
